Really looking forward to the tabletop products for this, hope it's good!

Well I don't mean whole wasted panels like on the Tyranny of dragons screen (bleh) but just a little artwork, for me, helps keep my imagination working, and I like my products to look good.

I like the look of it. I wouldn't want 100% tables and charts inside - it would be too cluttered - a little decoration is nice.

Really looking forward to the next adventure, hoping I find it better than HotDQ. Rich Baker's stuff has been good before.

Yeah I agree, Phandelver is excellent, I've run HotDQ was very disappointed. I'll probably write a follow up to Lost Mines for my group.

About two and a half months too late :-( Encounters at my local store has ended now.

I don't think Dungeonscape was going well anyway. Better to call it a day now and move on I think. I think it was the right decision.

I love D&D, and I think D&D 5 Players Handbook and Monster Manual are excellent. But I think HotDQ is just poor for so many reasons, and I expect RoT is going to be just more of the same. Very disappointed for D&D 5's opening adventure.

If you can't see the magic item you want to give out in the game you're DMing, just make it up, as long as it's not too powerful :-) That's what I do. I flavour them for the monster that owns them, or for the place they are found in.

My group finds the dice system rather unwieldy as well. We like our combats quick and snappy, and the EotE system makes it hard work. We don't find it so bad for non-combat checks but often it's a hassle to deal with assembling the pool and interpreting the results for every check in the game.
