I house ruled the toughness feat in my game to 1hp per level, whith the stipulation that it could be only taken once. it has not proved to be unbalanceing and still its not taken as a must have feat. so I'm wondering . . . have any of you DM's out there made similar adjustments?

you may want to pick up the 2ed city of splendors box set for waterdeep - I know its set in the FR but it has a whole lot of usefull info and would go a long way towards showing you what you will need to do for your own city. ;)

it sounds like the player playing the ranger did himself a dis-service. rangers have a good bab, good saves and spells. if you need to be in the front line then you must think as a rogue - dont get hit, not as a barbarian - absorb the damage. get the items / feats and spells to boost your armor...

now thats FUNNY :o not only do they have a way to transport thier ill gotten gains, they can "cash in the bad guys too! im surprised i never considered this tactic myself as a player. I would say that they are worth 25, 50, or 100 gp per head depending on thier level and what they have done...

Gez- good job on the magens. I havent seen those since the basic set! is the minimun caster level = to the minimum level required for the needed spells? and what about casting the needed spells from scrolls? if there is a loophole my players will exploit it! :cool:

I find that after the monster manual I tend to use the Creature Catalog I, and II and Tome of Horrors more then any other Monster books. now if you want one that REALLY sucks try the monsternomicon!!!! :lol:

in any city of a decient size the pc's can usually find a buyer for whatever magic items that they want to sell. buying them on the other hand is trickier - one shot items like potions wands are easier to come by then the permenant stuff

even somthing not officially sanctioned that showed the spheres of control would be a good thing. it is my fervent hope that this small but importent area isnt overlooked in the future contenintal books Termania and Asherak
