GAME OF THRONES #6:The Laws of God and Men ACT 45 Chapter 4-2014

Also, the final two episodes of the season are typically the longest. The first episode is also kind of long because it re-introduces people to the characters, then the middle episodes tend to be 50-55 minutes long, then the final two are like 60 minutes, or a bit longer.

GAME OF THRONES #6:The Laws of God and Men ACT 45 Chapter 4-2014

Not sure, to be honest. I think the testimony for the trial in the book wasn't quite so one-sided. It's been a while since I read the book, but I remember that

GAME OF THRONES #6:The Laws of God and Men ACT 45 Chapter 4-2014

I think his intent was to go along with what Jamie said, and allow Tyrion to go to the wall... however, after Shae came out & humiliated him like that, he got fired up/angry. My guess is that his first choice will be Jamie.

GAME OF THRONES #6:The Laws of God and Men ACT 45 Chapter 4-2014

No, the Greyjoy attack on the Dreadfort did not happen in the books. I think it was there to demonstrate how far gone/broken Theon is. They really needed Victarian for that attack.

excellent episode, I thought. Very intense ending with Tyrion and Tywin facing off.

GAME OF THRONES #5:First of His Name ACT 44 Chapter 4-2014

Yes, I don't remember that being mentioned in the books. The crown itself had huge debts, and a good part of it was to the Lannisters, as well as the Iron Bank and the Faith.

GAME OF THRONES #4:Oathkeeper ACT 43 Chapter 4-2014

Tommen is like 8 or 9 in the books, so his relationship with Margaery (15 or 16?) is more innocent - at least from Tommen's perspective. How old is TV Tommen? 13 or 14? Big difference.

Going in to the finale, I thought Beth was a goner for sure - they'd find out the gruesome way that Beth was dinner.

Game of Thrones 4.3 "Breaker of Chains" (spoiler alert)

True. I think they built up Robb in seasons 1 and 2 a bit more than he was in the book so the emotional impact of the Red Wedding would translate onto the screen.

Game of Thrones 4.3 "Breaker of Chains" (spoiler alert)

good episode last night with a lot going on within a lot of locations. Liked the scenes with Tywin and Tommen and then Tywin with Oberyn. Thought Davos was good, and Sam/Gilly. I figured Daario was going to replace Strong Belwas and he did okay in his place. And, poor Ser Dontos - a...

GAME OF THRONES #2: The Lion and the Rose ACT 41 Chapter 4-2014

I think when I read the books initially, I thought it was a conspiracy involving several people - especially at the end

Plus, it symbolizes his whole break from his past, with Shae and the other person who dies in the end.

GAME OF THRONES #2: The Lion and the Rose ACT 41 Chapter 4-2014

They almost have to do that with Tyrion, I think?

GAME OF THRONES #2: The Lion and the Rose ACT 41 Chapter 4-2014

I haven't found quite as many this time around. The Red Wedding was shocking for its scope as well - not just some key players dying.

GAME OF THRONES #1:Two Swords ACT 40 Chapter 4-2014

True - if he's the lead role, then it will be a bigger paycheck and more publicity than a semi-important role among a cast of hundreds.

D&D 5E (2014) Tyranny of Dragons Panel at PAX East Today

My guess is that they have a few people there in positions of importance that used to be, or are, avid D&D players. I know a few people that heard about D&D 3E back in 2000 from non-gaming magazines or non-gaming online sources. "Hey Jeff, do you remember playing D&D back in high school in...

GAME OF THRONES #1:Two Swords ACT 40 Chapter 4-2014

THought it was a good start, though I think some viewers might not remember Janus Slynt from the first few episodes of last season. And, from the folks at Happy Place, the always funny IF Game of Thrones took place on Facebook, Season 4, Episode 1...

Alec Guinness' letter about this "Star Wars" movie he was filming

I know royalties have been around for a while, but was it common for actors to get a percentage of the gross back in the 70s and earlier?
