Just finished Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch. Rollicking good time. :) Might start on Vellum by Hal Duncan or The Blade Itself Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie next.

Ditto. Kind of a meh episode overall. Seemed too jumpy, too unfocused. Some of the best 1st Season episodes revolved around only a few of the characters, this episode just tried to cram too much in and I just don't think it really did anything well except set stuff up for later.

Were Mind Flayers in OD&D? Or, for that matter, were psionics in OD&D? I certainly know that Mind Flayers possessed psionic abilities in the 1e MM. Maybe not psionic abilities as they appeared in later iterations of the game, but psionic abilities nonetheless.
