Myself included, my subscriptions transfered over to 6 issues of Pathfinder. As much as I'd love to see the them produce the web enhancements for the last few issues of Dungeon (especially since we're running STAP now), I'd much rather have 15% off my other subscritions.

Good business strategy - that, support those who are no longer supporting you, instead of those who are. That being said... I'd like to see those last few Dungeon web enhancements too :\

Agreed, and an effective marketing strategy, AFAIC. I just don't believe that this move is indicative of any financial woes on Paizo's part, but more of a way to continue gaining subscribers at a point (between paths) where it would be natural for people "on the fence" to be tempted to end them...

If one did propose that, then it would be pure speculation, because Vic's announcement and also posts on paizo's boards by other staff, seem to contradict that, as they have indicated that Pathfinder was more much more successful that they had hoped for.

Cheaper ways to who? This is, IMO, a win/win, as it saves me money on, not only things I'm already buying (GameMastery Modules and Pathfinder Chronicles) and may buy in the future (mini's etc.), but also makes Paizo money by giving them more business so they can produce mo' betta stuff. So...

Or maybe... just maybe, they want to give something back to their subscribers like Vic said in the first few lines of the announcement.
