    D&D 5E (2014) Treantmonk's Guide to Wizards 5e

From a GM perspective, I would try to look at other spells of the equivalent level. Granting advantage or disadvantage with a cantrip for a single roll is within the realm of possibility, as there are those spells that do it, or get very close. So that seems like something that can be done...

    D&D 5E (2014) Treantmonk's Guide to Wizards 5e

Well, silent image also includes creatures and visible phenomenon. Lots of things make that bar and are silent. Fog, for example, or shadow. Creatures can be done and seen at a distance and not heard. They have more options for believability, and thus less likely to be investigated. And...

    D&D 5E (2014) Treantmonk's Guide to Wizards 5e

There is a pretty solid argument that darkness and fog cannot be created with minor illusion, as other spells specify "effects" when considering what can be created by illusions, and minor illusion only allows "objects". My own interpretation and ruling is that the first one will make it by...

    The price of a horse.

Mythras has a Freeman's yearly income as somewhere between 750-3750 silver pieces, and a riding horse is 2500 for a reasonable quality one. Poor quality is half that, and draft horses are a bit more than riding. Potentially. Quite pricey :)

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Starter Spells; Plus UA Returning To Monthly & Sage Advice Returning

I agreed. it should be clarified. I feel like if it doesn't, it's very.. mechanical? artificial? if it does, it's quite strong.

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Starter Spells; Plus UA Returning To Monthly & Sage Advice Returning

the potential for infestation and puppet to provoke OAs is rather excellent, though I think infestation has less than a 50% chance to do that. Still, very nice.

D&D 5E (2014) Meaningful Consequences of Failure for Picking Locks

then i would ask why the lock isn't picked yet, and why it even exists. if you have infinite time, which a crypt might have, it would probably be unlocked already.

D&D 5E (2014) Meaningful Consequences of Failure for Picking Locks

It really depends a lot on the environment, in my mind. Without patrolling monsters in the area or some other time derived challenge, time based penalties are going to be irrelevant, and thus retrying will be a thing that will be desired and no rational reason can be made for it not to happen...

D&D 5E (2014) Fun with Glyphs of Warding

I mean, glyph of warding loaded with reverse gravity outside seems useful for getting rid of people. Mordenkainen's private sanctum seems like it might be handy. even as a trap (can't teleport in or out, no planar travel)

    D&D 5E (2014) MPMB's D&D 5e Character Tools

Downloaded this for the first time today. Added water breathing to my lore mastery wizard. it gave me the Wu Jen psionic discipline instead :) handy if only I had some Psi Points to use!

D&D 5E (2014) Mystic, Psionic Mastery, and 11th level and up

Right, this is why the heh in there. To me that says "they are not tied to the discipline" not "you can break the psi limit for powers". I can completely see why one might think the other way. Note, the terminology here - discipline - and not effect. Sounds like an excellent sage advice...

D&D 5E (2014) Mystic, Psionic Mastery, and 11th level and up

I don't see anything that indicates that it allows you to break your psi limit. So dumping all 11 points in one shot appears to not be an option. The phrasing is there to make it clear (heh) that it is not tied to one discipline.

D&D 5E (2014) A character class with exceptional action economy?

Still in playtest, but the mystic might have the best action economy. Lots and lots of reactions and bonus actions and actions. Even reaction granting.

Unearthed Arcana 5E Psionics Alert! The Mystic Is Back In Unearthed Arcana

It's probably been mentioned in here, but probably worth saying again - the mystic has several abilities which enable the use of reactions by one or more party members. If you have a party without a lot of reliable reactions, that's a pretty strong win. Very much a sea change in the action economy.

D&D 5E (2014) A character class with exceptional action economy?

Thanks for this. I really like characters that make full use of it and haven't spent much time looking. Light cleric matches yours almost exactly. Battlrmaster fighter with Parry does it as well Monk does starting at level 3 with deflect missiles Lore and valor bards can with dual weapons

    D&D 5E (2014) Swords & Sorcery House Rules

Do you restrict races at all? Much of sword and sorcery tends to be humanocentric. Do you restrict classes? I know Primeval Thule implies they are restricted, but iirc doesn't actually restrict anything. What spells are missing, outside of the ones mentioned? Can you give some examples or...
