Help out a bit with tips n answers?

Penetrating strike from Dungeonscape(50% sneak damage to normally immune creatures) might help with problems quite nicely but don't waste the feat unless you KNOW they will regularly pop up. If your DM won't tell you you'll just have to make an educated guess depending on your past games...

Help out a bit with tips n answers?

For purposes of sale and WLB, symbionts are pretty darn cheap ranging from 2000(most of em) to 8000( the most expensive 2). Unfortunately, shaodw sibling costs 8000 but if you ask me a ghost that does everything you say and gives a couple of bonuses to key skills is pretty darn worth it...

Help out a bit with tips n answers?

Yeah, there are only about a dozen types of symbionts in the Eberron setting. To narrow it down, the ones useful to a rouge are Eberron campaign setting: Psionic sinew - stat boost Magic of Eberron: Shadow sibling - already deatailed Throwing scarab - Infinite stealthed magical throwing...

Help out a bit with tips n answers?

Symbionts are from the Eberron setting and are basically tame abberations (creatures from, or touched by, the plane of madness). No legal markets will even stock them. The main source of symbionts are the mad-as-sockmonkeys Daelkyr and their servants, who make them through arcanoscience.However...

Help out a bit with tips n answers?

If you are willing to try some wierd stuff, the Eberron books have things called symbionts. One in particular is called the Shadow sibling. It is basically a ghost that piggybacks on your lifeforce. In exchange for this it gives you the following: Displacement: Your opponent has an extra 50%...

Why do they keep on dying?!

Noone in the group or noone in the setting? If you and your group know dying starts happening around this time, maybe a 'life insurance' might be a good idea. Have em make a habit of dropping by a high level temple right before dangerous adventures and say "We are embarking on a quest of great...

    Monster Buddies

If you want more monsters, Ebberon and Magic of Ebberon have symbiont creatures. They are little pet things (sometimes literally) attached to your hip and although always LE, they will stay and help any willing host since they can't live without one. Easiest way to obtain one is to find someone...

    Symbionts and such

Hiya, first thread here. Anyways, I was looking at Eberron for the first time and noticed something awesome. Symbionts. There is hardly anything about them on the net but they are basically magical items you dont need slots for and are great utility gadgets. For example, you are blinded. Your...

    Epic music for campaign!

Eastern huh... well, this is a nice sounding song... but trust me when I say you might not want to know what it means. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkzVA2LAndQ Also, sorry if this is bein a downer but eastern paladins are highly unlikely since paladins are a purely western thing. Complete Psionic: Ardent (Aproved)

Actually, it is the most versatile of psionic classes since you can basically MAKE UP your own mantles(The Mind's Eye: Expanded Classes, Part Four). Here's the lowdown: 1.you can add powers to any mantle so long as the total number of powers in the mantle do not exceed 10 2.only restriction to...

With regards to the first guide, just think, how often does the Joker win in the long run? Go Goliath, if only because they look cooler. There are a few good monk guides out there, the ones I use are: Whoops! Browser Settings Incompatible and Whoops! Browser Settings Incompatible Depending on...

    Harpies... what the french? toast!

Indeed . Once our DM had our 5th level crew attacked by a KRAKEN as a plot device. Unfortunately, so many circumstantial tactics and criticals happened that we ACTUALLY BEAT IT. I was a noob at the time so it didn't dawn on me what had happened till I later looked up Krakens in the books. CR12 lol.
