Forget that wussy dex based finesse stuff. 2-Hander str builds are the way to go with dervishes. Barbarian nets 10 extra speed, the rage can be used to offset fatigue after a dance or when you don't have room to dance to start with. Dervishes ain't tanks though (for a group with squishies)...

The fault lies with the monk class, not the belt. Implement the max ac/class level rule ala duelist/bladesinger/invisible blade etc ... ... you get a belt giving a max of 5+1 ac to non monks and you put a reign on one/two monk level dip builds at the same time.

Just checked the rules again. The check to find tracks is not limited to a dc10 without the feat, but following is.

You don't get the feats from wildshape either, until elemental. And everyone can track up to dc10, that's a take 10 on survival for every character without a negative wis modifier. The druid's survival ranks are kinda wasted on such a low dc.
