    Confirmed: No Warforged in PHB!

Hey, that's cool. At least they'll have stats fairly soon in the release. It's not like we'll have to wait for the Eberron setting book for them.

    Roles, Power Sources; unbalanced?

We actually don't know if the Warlock will remain Arcane, and have no information on the Ranger's power source either. He's more likely divine if he's in PH1.

    New playtest report 9/20...

Here. Wow. That sounds good. I think.

    Warlock confirmed in PH1...

I don't know about the rest, but you've actually got the Wizards flipped around. After a wizard uses all his per/day spells, he will still be at 80% of his power.

Roles, Power Sources, & PHB1 Classes

Yes. Sans paladin, replace with Warlord. That's the point of using roles, so that players can make something other than just cleric but still be the designated healer. This is the most brilliant piece I've heard about 4th Edition yet. Finally, a party sans cleric that isn't in for a world of...

Roles, Power Sources, & PHB1 Classes

You're right about the PH1. And if you notice, I said the same in my post. Er... read the second paragraph I quoted above. It's kinda right there.

Roles, Power Sources, & PHB1 Classes

This article talks extensively about Bards in 4th Edition. This makes it clear that the Bard is an arcane leader, but he will not likely be in PH1.

    Warlock confirmed in PH1...

I could get behind that. I'm just not sure about the role of the Warlock though. If they use a similar build to the 3.x version, that'd make him more of a striker than controller (less spells and more blasts). Also, with Warlock as a striker, that makes three of 'em in the first PHB (rogue and...

What is your top question/concern about 4th edition?

I have to stop myself from typing magic-user every time I mean wizard. And he's right, the stats have been out of order for far too long.

    Warlock confirmed in PH1...

If you are referring to the roles video where James Wyatt explains the roles to Gamer_Zero, then no. There was no specifics on how many of each role, or power source, will make it into PH1.

What is your top question/concern about 4th edition?

The wizard tradition fluff being hard-wired into the rules.

D&D 4E Is 4E winning you or losing you?

As long as the wizard traditions fluff is easily changed out, I'm chomping at the bit to get me some 4th Edition.

Roles, Power Sources, & PHB1 Classes

The confirmed classes are, and no, these are not necessarily in PH1: Martial: Defender-Fighter. Roles video. Leader-Warlord. Roles video. Striker-Rogue. Roles video. Controller-? Arcane: Defender-Swordmage. WotC blog. Leader-Bard. PC Roles article. Striker-? Possibly Warlock or Sorcerer...

Come on. How could you forget about that video. :) Do you think I'd let you forget it? (Yes, that's humor.) ^_^

    Warlock confirmed in PH1...

It's confirmed that the wizard is a controller. It's in the PC Roles video on youtube. Or did you mean warlock? That we don't know.

    Warlocks are in. Source here.

    Filling Class/Role combos

Never said it did. The fact that it's an interview of James Wyatt by Gamer_Zero about 4th edition makes it official. Everyone. Healing powers. That ties up the leaders are healers bit. Yes. There are other healers in the game. The paladin is evidence of that. I'm not arguing that point. I'm...

Which spells do you usually imagine linked to an orb, staff or wand? (Tome optional)

Doing a quick wiki check of the sources for these kinds of magic tools, something interesting caught my eye. So what about the implements (the original four) dividing up the schools? Wand: transmutation, enchantment. Staff: conjuration, evocation. Orb: divination, illusion. Tome: necromancy...
