World Science: Signs of dark matter found?

Black holes don't really work that way - they don't eat everything up in their vicinity, at least not more than a mass-equivalent planet. Cheers, LT.

    Dragon Magazine

I simply don't get hold of it. I don't pay for it in the moment, I get nothing to read in the moment. Seems fair to me. :) Cheers, LT.

    Iokharic Script Font

Nice font, useful for handouts. Are you going to do the other scripts as well? ;) Cheers, LT.

    No More Gargantuan?

Of course, you could say it's not the size that matters. It's like black holes. Cheers, LT.

    New Star Trek trailer online

Especially if you go to the theatre occasionally. They always re-interpret the original material. Cheers, LT.

Why are we all goblin sharpshoters level 2? What does it mean?

I wonder... is that something like a Collider? Cheers, LT.

    No More Gargantuan?

Oh, I'm happy to see lower size cap. Once critters reach a certain size, they should be modelled as terrain or combination of critters, tied together. Basically, if you're 100 ft long, a human whacking your tail repeatedly shouldn't kill you. He should, instead, climb on you and try to combat...

Does art matter in a publication?

Art is great. And important - humans are pretty visual beings, and hence good art really catches your imagination. The flipside of that is that bad art is worse than the absence of art. Cheers, LT.

    Edition Idol

Probably because of the background material. For example, I voted for 2E to 4E. While I adore 4E as a streamlined fun system, I have to say that the 2E books (Planescape!) were among the most enjoyable flavour material for a RPG I've ever read. Cheers, LT.

The HIVE 90210-911: Volume 2: Extreme Ultimate Home Edition; Gone Wild w/ Nano-Bots!

Y'know, originally black holes were often called "dark stars" or "obscured stars", because... you know... there are other associations with "black hole". Especially in French. Cheers, LT.

The HIVE 90210-911: Volume 2: Extreme Ultimate Home Edition; Gone Wild w/ Nano-Bots!

Ah, the "black holes have no hair" thing! :) Though be careful: The point about the "no hair"-theorem is that you can only determine the mass, charge, and angular momentum of the entire black hole, everything else is lost. Entropy is a bit more finicky... Of course, as so many things in...

    That Magic Feeling

Yeah, this. I'm not too keen on the actual Vancian-style mechanics of 3.xE and before, but for me, wizardly D&D spells need to be: a) formulaic (i.e. not freeform built) b) specialised (no fire spell that can produce flaming rays, explosions and warm you - just have your scorching ray, fireball...

The HIVE 90210-911: Volume 2: Extreme Ultimate Home Edition; Gone Wild w/ Nano-Bots!

But leave the raunchy stuff in... and the UK aren't too far to get cheap imported games... or you just need to know a guy working in a GameStop... (and I get 10% off) Cheers, LT.

The HIVE 90210-911: Volume 2: Extreme Ultimate Home Edition; Gone Wild w/ Nano-Bots!

Move to Germany, there, people adhere to the signals almost slavishly (well, not that bad... but you often see people refusing to cross an empty street - and by empty, I mean totally empty - because the walk light is red). Definitely very different from other countries I know! Cheers, LT.
