GOO's Mech D20 SRD now avilable in PDF

No. I've looked through the GOO message boards but could not find the Errata pages. I'll go look again harder.

Wanted: Dragonstar Top Secret project cleanup team

I've known about them, but neither my FLGS nor my FOGS had them in stock. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll make a stronger effort to track them down.

GOO's Mech D20 SRD now avilable in PDF

I knew about the Mecha D20 Extreme. This was mostly an exercise in doing a document layout that I wanted to share rather than an attempt to replace another version.

Just because you have time to argue with the astrophysicst doesn't mean the rest of us do. :)

    Glaring Error in d20 Future...

If you are serious, go bring this up with Malenfant on the COTI boards. He's frequently ranted about poor world generation systems and his web site has a whole bunch of really good information.

    Favorite Combat opponents.

I'm actually surprised at the number of people who picked "any". I guess business is good. It's been a while since I've GMed, and in the older D&D versions I would go with the overwhelming odds more frequently because it made for better combats. But the D20 system has changed combat enough...

    Favorite Combat opponents.

Thom's poll of the week: This question is regarding your favorite kind of combat. When the dice start rolling, how many opponents do you think offer the most fun for you and your group?

    D20 Future + Sidewinder: Recoiled=Firefly?

T20 is D&D based mostly because it predates D20 modern. Maybe I'll take that up with QLI once I get D20 future...

Wanted: Dragonstar Top Secret project cleanup team

Thanks for the ideas. Here's what I finally came up with. I need to put some details but I think this will work smashingly. Grond: Half-Dragon (blue)/human: Bard/Negotiator: can talk candy out of the hand of a baby. Ugly: an Iron Golem named "Mage Smasher". Armed with a Huge masterwork...

Wanted: Dragonstar Top Secret project cleanup team

See, this is what I'm looking for. None of the player in my group are half dragons. Some are drow, and all are pretty mundane compared to this group. What are your house rules for the power armor piloting? I've got two players who want that skill in my group.

Wanted: Dragonstar Top Secret project cleanup team

Sorry. being unclear is a habit of mine. I can come up with a group of NPC's, it will just look like every other group of NPCs I create. So I would like an outline of a few characters, I don't need full character sheets. Example: Grond: Magic-user/computer tech/leader. Usually directes from a...

Wanted: Dragonstar Top Secret project cleanup team

I need a small, mobile team of experts who's job it is to remove witnesses and evidence of one or more top secret projects currently in progress in the Dragon Empire. A large, but not unlimited budget is available for equipment and supplies. Details proved upon request. The players in my...

    Miniatures for your Game

I will never understand all these people who insist on metal miniatures. I found that Lego minifigs work just as well, are easily customized, and much cheaper.

Any scubadiver or biochemist to help me with my sci-fi setting?

My return question to you is, how much science do you want in your fiction? The key words you want to google on is "Partial Pressure". What determines how breatable the atmosphere is the partial pressure of oxygen. And if the remaining atmosphere is inert enough not to affect the humans...

Xp and level spread in your campaign

Thom's poll of the week. This question relates to fairness in gaming. The D&D and D20 system is designed around the idea that all the characters are about (or exactly) the same level. This makes it difficult for players to have character concepts like the old master and his student. But I have...

How detailed are your in-game religions?

Thom's poll of the week. DM campaign design question this time. Clerics are one of the core classes of D&D. The one thing that should most influence their power, both from a roleplaying perspective and in terms of spell power, is the god or gods they worship and follow. So how much description...

    LOTR campaign -- "Frodo Fails"?

I have seen an in-depth discussion of someone who ran a campaign like this. They had had Sauron regain the ring, and spread the second age of darkness across all Middle Earth. In this case the third age becomes very much like the first age, where evil has taken over Middle Earth, and there are a...
