my old dm did this once, saying that dnd is not all hack n slash, but since hes a poor dm, it was very boring. (im not saying that sessions with no fighting are always boring, im just ranting a bit about my old dm.)

i find the d20 products extremly expensive, that is why i have only a few books and so many, unpaid for, pdfs. :\

ewocs? (i think this is how you spell it) that is exactly the way elven cities look in my game. i remember reading a description of an elven city in the dmg, it was very alike.

all this just comes to prove that humans learn so much faster then all the other races. in other words, humans are superior to everyone else, just like i always thought. :p

no way! i've been playing D&D for the last three n' a half years and i won't stop willingly, although college may make things defficult.

some good luck on the rogues part, or some bad luck on the pcs part, could have changed everything. just the other day my party of (a bit underequiped) four 6th level fighters and two (very underequiped) 12th level fighters attacked a (fully equiped) 12th level wizard, and won only because one...

i think the epic rules are unbalanced, overly powerful, and dreadfuly useless. its a waste of your 7$ if you ask me.

i don't like the epic level rules and i really don't like 'epic level' movies. no fighting class should be able to fight a whole army even at high level, he might kill lots, but he should never be able to win.

for me, low magic is a very bad thing, as i always like to play spellcasters. but in the game im running now, although i did not want it to turn out this way, none of the pcs are spell casters and the players like it that way, although i do not.
