[d20M] League of Extraordinary Gentlemen -- UPDATED 12/4! NOTHING STRESSFUL GOING ON!

Re: SCENE TWO: THE COLORADO SPRINGS MASSACRE And Edward Hyde is not bulletproof, so hopefully if he changes there is a round of staring in shock:) Good chaos from the Invisible Man though. Nemo's my favorite so far.

    Drow Mating ??

I'm not really sure why this would be something to get upset over. By the rules I'd say it's probably not possible, though not explicitely prohibited. In my own game the group has run into a half-orc helf-elf. (Well, maybe Drow, it's never really been questioned:)). Given that character also...

[d20M] League of Extraordinary Gentlemen -- UPDATED 12/4! NOTHING STRESSFUL GOING ON!

So far so good, I'd say. I'm not sure about Mina and Jekyll, in the book the one time he takes her by surprise, he overpowers her pretty easily. But after that he tends to be more agreeable. The one time he seems to want to do something else and Mina's being demanding, they have a three...

Matrix Reloaded, what does this mean?

Actually, the Architect seemed to be trying to flatter Neo. Telling him how special he was. Brighter than previous One's. Neo had true love where the other's just had love of humanity in general, etc etc, while palying up Neo as the rebel, a role Neo's always wanted. And then, predictably...

so Really, how does the Druid stack up (@v3.0)?

I wouldn't call the druid a combination of cleric/fighter/wizard. There is no fighter in there at all. BAB of a cleric. fewer hitpoints. Less offense than a wizard, less healing than a cleric. Druids get wild shape, but that's nothing a wizard can't do even better with Polymorph in 3.0...

    [OA/FR] Rokugan - Updated 12/13/03

Corrections made to the storyhour where I accidently put in Bugaisha when I meant Kuzo. Update coming soon. Things are about to get bloody(er).

I saw the MATRIX 2 thread SPOILERS ABOUND

Trinity drew her gun and was very ready to simply shoot Persephone out of hand. As well as promising she'd be the one killing Persepone if this was a trap. I'd say upset was putting it mildly. [B] So very true. your car is no more real to you in the game than the levels. And Neo did treat...

And for reference. The plaque in the Nebucanezzar reads "Mark III No. 11. Made in the USA, 2069." So we can guess that the machines had not won by then.

I saw the MATRIX 2 thread SPOILERS ABOUND

Now now, let's not drift this thread toward politics, even a little. It wouldn't take much to get the thread locked once we start talking politics. And Kai Lord has a good point. I hadn't really thought at the time about Neo being a jerk, but looking back it does kinda stand out not so much...

I saw the MATRIX 2 thread SPOILERS ABOUND

That part is certainly true. But by the logic Morpheus gives, you can kill thousands of humans without a second thought because they are all potential enemies. How long before we have to start wondering if Morpheus is really a good guy or not?;)

What cvhanges would you make to the base rules set to get an added anime feel?

And let us not forget the spell Hentai's Black Tentacles.:)

    One shot, one kill?

Hard to say. From a previous thread, I recall the creator of the feat saying it was poorly worded in the ELH and should have been an Epic only feat the way it ended up worded. The errata'd version is suitable for more general use.

I saw the MATRIX 2 thread SPOILERS ABOUND

A few thoughts. There never was any humanity in the series. Remember, Morpheus, an insane fanatic, has been teaching them to kill humans without a thought in order to achieve their goals. Trinity certainly could have escaped the cops at the start of the first movie without killing them...

    Lois and Clark- TNAoS questions

Really, for much of the series, the best thing about it is the villainous Luthor. Once he was revealed and killed it went downhill badly.

    [OT-Sumo] Natsu Basho

In most recent bouts Asashoryu outquicked the Moose. And Musashimaru steamrolled the Wolf Cub. While Chiyotaikai has a great record against Asashoryu. So it just goes to show, A Beats B beats C never means A beats C. Kyokushuzan deteated Asashoru on day 9 in a good match. Kyokushuzan won by...

DM can't get the hang of high-level play

Actually, in my experience lethality grows if anything as you go up in level. What I've noticed with my group is some near death experiences because the bad guys can do so much more damage in a round, it's easy to die in one shot if you are not careful. What I tend to do is less one big bad...

    Yay, A New Game! (Groan)

I usually try to adapt the new ideas to my present campaign. I had an idea floating around for using a vampire in my Rokugan game. Now I have a strong idea for it that I could save and use later in a new game, but with a little tweeking and adjusting, it fits my game just fine as a villain(?)...

    [OT-Sumo] Natsu Basho

More and more the field narrows down. Asashoryu leads the way with one loss. Only Chiyotaikai is close, and Kaio one more step behind. The real fun has been after Asashoryu's single loss. He was very demonstrative about not liking the judges decision. The end result was a mild warning...

    Dungeons & Dragons: The Sequel

The forced perspective shots are cheap, though. It's really just a matter of having the actors standing in the right spots and looking where it looks like the other person is, not where they really are.

    Dungeons & Dragons: The Sequel

I enjoy Rocky Horror and Plan Nine. I found the DnD movie unwatchable. But there's hope. I'm sure the second try will be better than the first. I'm not sure it could get much worse unless the budget's $50,000 or less. and they have the beneift of hindsight. They can look back, see what...
