"Razh, what's wrong with you? The orcs back here are all dead. If you want to protect the kids, clear a path through of those orcs and zombies near the front so we can get the wagons through." Spotting the well-armored body of what seems to be the Paladin, Ogrin says to Hugh, "Hold a moment...

"Get that wagon moving! Help the wounded! I'll deal with this filth" Ogrin yells to Hugh and the sentry as he engages the new orcs. He is ducking and weaving, but manages to surprise one of the orcs with a stab through the heart. She falls immediately, dead. OOC: Ogrin is attacking whichever...

OOC: Rae, the Ogre is a giant, so don't forget that racial +4 dodge bonus vs giants... D'oh! Edit: I'll wait until Talbins action before deciding what to do.

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

All immediate threats gone, Ogrin sheaths his sword and tells Hugh and the sentry to get the wagon moving. He'll then jump off the wagon and inspect the fallen allies to see if anyone is still alive, and attempt to hoist them on top of the wagon or his horse (requesting help when needed).

OOC: Even if you can't counterspell, you can ready an action to damage a spell caster or similar when he's casting a spell, which forces a concentration check. Concentration also contains a save vs "Nondamaging Distracting spell" which I think would suit this best? Concentration in SRD

OOC: Monsters union is waving a flag here. Sneak attack damage is not doubled by crits. Not that I think it matters. :-)

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

It is unclear if Ogrins feint is successful as the orc is simply unable to keep up with the halflings speed and gets skewered on the halflings sharp sword. Ogrin then turns to the next foe climbing aboard, once more attempting a feint. OOC: Hits AC 19, 9 damage + 7 sneak if he fails to spot the...

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

OOC: But no worries, mate, I'll take it from here - back now. Ogrin is actually not flanking #9, it just looks that way. It looks like he still has his move action, so I'll continue with a feint... Ogrin turns back to the Orc on top of the wagon, making a weird move as if to throw himself at...

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

OOC: Quick post. No more alchemists fire in the backpack now. Does Ogrin get an AoO against the orc climbing the wagon? It looks like they'd have to move through his threatened area. Ogrin yells "Good shot!" and turns back to grin, only to see an Orc cutting down the kid. Swearing, he moves...

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

OOC: My timing is perfect. I'll be travelling to Dublin Monday through Wednesday. Don't wait for me, assume that my actions are largely similar to what I do this turn. I trust Rae to do the rolls for me, but please do better on the crit confirmation rolls :-) Ogrin quickly turns back towards...

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

OOC: The ceramic flasks are either alchemists fire or acid flasks. For simplicity, lets assume the fire ones has red bands and the acidic ones green, and that the red ones appear first in the haversack (note that it's a magic Haversack, so whatever you wish for is always on top in it and can be...

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

OOC: I had a final prep planned, to let Ogrin move south too meet the horde there, either on top or under the wagon, thus my question. I should've been more clear. If you don't allow it as prep, he'll do it as his first-round action. Last prep (or first round): Seeing the two huge Ogres...

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

OOC: Aren't the constructs quadrapeds that's drawing "our" wagon? They could be useful in blocking the way for the orcs, if nothing else. How high are the wagons? Can a halfling stand up normally beneath it? Would it provide cover? Just looking for some defensible options...

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

As the two-headed giant walks out of the forest, followed by a bunch of undead, Ogrin starts to chuckle. As he hears Razh laugh behind him, his mirth turns to laughter, and he questions the messenger: "These are the forces of mighty Tharok? An oversized two-headed freak and a pack of walking...

Ogrin, too, is tense. He fidgets with his stuff, glancing around and about. He ensures his shield is strapped to his arm, his hand resting on his sword hilt. He leans over towards Razh, whispering: "I've never seen an old orc before. You?" OOC: No special preparations, but he tries to spread...

S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

Ogrin turns back at their caravan, waving them onwards as he does not see any way that Juliana would ally with a band of orcs. His head turns sharply at Talbin. "You know her too!?" Looking back at Juliana and her companions, in particular her halfling friends, he continues, "Well Juliana, good...
