Updated MacOS to High Sierra and updated Office to 16.9 and it appears the image issue is resolved! Well, at least based on me opening the workbook three times since the updates and all being as it should!

Corrupting the villagers would work, but, IMO, would lack the consequence you want to put onto the PCs. They do a good deed and the recipients mess up, not really their fault. I like shidaku's idea (post #9) - the villagers decide to do the right thing, they want to replace the sheep/cows/pigs...

I have been reading EN World since Eric started the site. There were times when I would read through all of the forums daily! Now all I have to do is read through the News page and read a few of the linked stories. Please keep it up, if at all possible.

How much time are you planning on spending here? And do you want to visit a couple of places and really get to know them or do you prefer hitting lots of places and seeing the one or two main tourist sites? Realistically, it is impossible to visit Canada, unless you are here for a year or so...
