According to Deities and Demigods, Deities get an additional +2 synergy bonus for every 20 ranks they have in a skill. I guess what I'm essentially asking is this - the ability only increases the deity's bonus, not their ranks, right?

Weren't there a couple of abilities previously in the thread that affected the rate at which QP was transfered over? Using those as a base, couldn't you just make a new ability similar to those?

There's also the problem that a ranger's effective druid level for animal companion is always treated by as one-half of his ranger level. That's a pretty wide gap for a feat.
