    Goodies from Goodman: Castle Whiterock

I like the artwork. It's quite stylized. A lot of the artwork around is almost 'too good/perfect', almost photographic. I like the quirky features of the girl, not the classic beauty seen in most fantasy artwork featuring scantily clad females. I'm no art critique, just IMO.

What's Stopping Me from Gaining Multiple Wishes at Level 12?

I think you might actually get away with doing it once, depends how your DM wants to play it. A second time and.....I can imagine the Grand Vizier taking a personal interest in sorting out this annoying itch and the mind boggles when thinking of the consequences. His power is awesome and far...

    Funniest DM/player faux pas

Anyone got any funny dm/player blunders? I once had a DM who was trying to describe an image: DM: 'The mural depicts an image like a pirate flag without the crossbones' Players in unison: 'So it's a SKULL!!!!' You probably had to be there but it disrupted our game for a good while

Do you consider yourself a hardcore gamer or casual?

Casual these days. Former hardcore 1E during adolescence (I literally LOST 2 years of real life in the early eighties - blissfully unaware of music/news etc). I still know 1E blindfold but haven't played it for more than a decade. I have hardly scratched the surface of 3.5. Only play once a...

After being DM can PLAYING ever be as good?

I was just wondering what folks views are on this. Most people start off as players then become DM at some stage when they get to know the game. Once you become a DM has it affected your enjoyment as a player in later games? The reason I ask this is because I started at 1e D&D as a player and...

    Piratecat ruined my D&D game

I agree that if there are good plot lines and character deaths are fairly infrequent then the remainder of the party can keep it going nicely while the new character gets integrated. I also believe that level progression in 3.5 is much too fast for a long lasting campaign with depth. I am a bit...
