D&D 5E (2014) Official D&D Greek-Themed 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros' Setting Coming In May

What are male nymphs supposed to be? Although satyrs were all male in the ancient world, the "satyress" first appears in the Renaissance, so is by no means new.

D&D 5E (2014) Official D&D Greek-Themed 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros' Setting Coming In May

I already own Arkadia and Odyssey of the Dragonlords. I know that Nordic settings for 5e exist as well. Is there any chance we'll get ancient Celtic and Mesopotamian stuff?

This game was quite enjoyable. Ah, those were the days...

    Fantasy Flight Games Discontinuing RPGs?

At first LotR, now SW. It looks like RPG companies are better off using their own proprietary settings or settings/themes that are in the public domain (e.g. Sherlock Holmes, most Cthulhu Mythos stuff).

Unearthed Arcana WotC Removes Latest Unearthed Arcana

I think the main issue is simply the name of the domain. Why not rename into "Passion" domain or something like that, provided there isn't one already?

    D&D 5E (2014) Epic Monsters: Peter Pan

Since Titania is queued, did we already have Oberon? Or the French version, Auberon, from Huon de Bordeaux? Btw, Huon would also be a good choice.

    D&D 5E (2014) Epic Monsters: Peter Pan

"All children, but one, grow up." - I guess a reference to his brother, David, who died at an early age. Obviously, children who die can never grow up.

    D&D 5E (2014) Epic Monsters: Peter Pan

Peter Pan is basically a young, egotistical Edwardian gentleman. He's interested in Wendy as a wife. Tinker Bell is just his throwaway girlfriend. The Lost Boys are his hangers-on (i.e. young gentlemen who are less well-off than Peter and hope to benefit from his largesse).

    D&D 5E (2014) Epic Monsters: Peter Pan

Peter Pan in the book certainly isn't evil. But he's callous and very self-centered. My favorite Peter Pan quote: "To die will be an awfully big adventure" - I don't know if such a sentiment can be assigned to any particular alignment, although it does sound very chaotic.

D&D 5E (2014) DC Comics Publishing Dungeons & Dragons Sourcebook

I never heard of this comic series before, but it certainly sounds interesting.

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Rockets to #1 In 'All Books' on Amazon

I might be more interested in this book if the cover wasn't so bland.

Critical Role Here's The Cover Of The Explorer's Guide to Wildemount; Plus It's #15 In Amazon Bestsellers!

Well, who knows what may be happening in Wildemount. I can just imagine the players encountering a "wolf pack" consisting of a bunch of buff young guys running around shirtless.

Hero Forge Custom Color Mini Kickstarter Is Live - And Funded!

Since they claim to use "cutting-edge 3D printing technology", I was hoping for a higher level of customization. I generally have very specific ideas about how my character should look, but I doubt they would be met by Hero Forge 2.0.

Critical Role Here's The Cover Of The Explorer's Guide to Wildemount; Plus It's #15 In Amazon Bestsellers!

But while a lot of FR stuff has been translated into French and German, none of the CR material has. I can only assume that the non-English-speaking market for Critical Role just isn't big enough to make it worthwhile. The many FR novels probably greatly increased that setting's recognition...

Critical Role Here's The Cover Of The Explorer's Guide to Wildemount; Plus It's #15 In Amazon Bestsellers!

Meanwhile in Europe: Amazon UK: Explorer's Guide to Wildemount is #17 in Books. However, it doesn't appear at all in the lists of Amazon France and Amazon Germany.

News Digest for the Week of December 20

There is a Baker Street Irregulars graphic novel (non-RPG) that mixes the Holmes' setting with Cthulhu. It's titled The Irregulars in the Service of Sherlock Holmes and it's by Steven-Elliot Altman. Moreover, there is a great French graphic novel line called Les Quatre de Baker Street.

Werewolf: the Apocalypse 5th Edition Trailer

@LuisCarlos17f It would be good if they published two separate books: One a pure rule book and the other a setting book for people who are interested in the "eco-warrior" genre. I would certainly buy a rule book, but then create a different setting for it.

Name Maker Real World Volume 2 German from Ennead Games

I had to laugh when I saw "Werner Seehofer" - it made me think of Horst Seehofer, Germany's Minister of the Interior.
