I was generally pretty excited about 3e, though I did want armor type vs S/C/P kept and also liked weapon speeds. I no longer miss weapon speeds, but I really wish the S/C/P division had been kept in the game.
Unfortunately, you have now made yourself a target for fanbois who will happily nitpick every sentence in your post to prove you are wrong. While I am still undecided about 4e, many of the people here will straight up attack you for even hinting it is not the perfect game. Even though none of us...

So if they are not regular posters here, they don't count? I don't really like that point of view. If anything, having this many non-posters here may give a better impression of what the general populace likes, instead of die-hard fans like most of the people here.
I will read through it and probably play a game or two to test it out. However, unless it is MUCH easier to set up a game, I'll be sticking Castles and Crusades. 3e pretty much already shot right past my willingness to spend time prepping a game.
I wouldn't mind seeing most of them, but I can just guess the 4e crew would have to have an apocalypse in each world to "justify" all the rules changes. Ergo, they'd probably just end up pissing me off.

Uses real money, not a Wealth system.
Has no prestige classes of any kind.
