I am usually willing to wait through a boring part of a movie to see it improve. However when I find a movie painful (oh say, Rushmore), I will bail on it fairly early. Mind you, this is on DVD. When I pay theatre price, I generally won't leave (though have come mighty close). buzzard

That's certainly true. I was only thinking in terms of video. For storage they are both quite nice, but as I said, my progressive scan DVDs look just fine right now. buzzard

Maybe once one camp wins I'll bother caring but for the moment, I am quite disinterested. Sure, I do have an HD monitor and all that good stuff, but honestly the resolution from a progressive scan DVD right now is plenty good. This is definitely a case of just not seeing the point. buzzard
