NORTHLANDS - 900 Pages Of Adventure for PATHFINDER and S&W

It's a totally fair question, and believe me, if the 5e version of The Lost Lands: Borderland Provinces (soon to Kickstart) is a big success, then you'll see more and more triple-system campaign releases from us. We're going to do the campaign book experiment very, very shortly, but with a...

NORTHLANDS - 900 Pages Of Adventure for PATHFINDER and S&W

Correct -- we (Necromancer Games as a sister publisher) are focusing on adventures for 5e, not adventure paths or campaign material, due to the fact that that those two areas are being provided by WotC. We have a planned 5e Kickstarter for a short adventure book almost immediately after...

NORTHLANDS - 900 Pages Of Adventure for PATHFINDER and S&W

As the author of Cyclopean Deeps and not of the others, maybe I've got some credibility on the evaluation, then. :) I'm with FGG, so take it with whatever sized grain of salt is appropriate. :) I'll also mention a bit about converting to 5e. I'm the one doing most of the conversion to S&W from...

QUESTS OF DOOM For D&D 5E Is Here!

Enough to make Microsoft pay attention to our sales activity, yes. :)

QUESTS OF DOOM For D&D 5E Is Here!

It turns out we are having a problem because Microsoft servers are blocking us (presumably they think we're sending spam because of the sudden volume). If anyone is planning on ordering tonight, give it an hour from the time of this email (11:40PM US Central time) to let Chris get it sorted out.

QUESTS OF DOOM For D&D 5E Is Here!

Email me at mythmere at yahoo dot com with the name you purchased under and I will email Bill right away. Check your spam folder, obviously, but you've probably already done that. Edit: to answer the question, as far as I know we haven't had a problem on any orders through our website. We did...

QUESTS OF DOOM For D&D 5E Is Here!

It will be 2 separate pdfs containing a total of all 18 adventures (12 and 6 respectively). The pdfs are free with the books. So 5e players will have all 18 adventures in 5e format -- the only difference is that they're broken into the 2 volumes instead of all being in one file/book.

QUESTS OF DOOM For D&D 5E Is Here!

PFRPG and Swords & Wizardry versions are in one book, whereas the Kickstarter for 5e didn't hit the stretch goal to have all the adventures in one book. We went ahead and went at risk on the second book, but the reason 2 books with the same content cost more than one book is basically because of...

QUESTS OF DOOM For D&D 5E Is Here!

Some time this week, I think, possibly just a couple of days. Chuck can probably give you a better status report on it: it's finished writing-wise, it's just the longest layout task of the books.

Pathfinder 1E Frog God Games Quests of Doom

There's a long thread about Quests of Doom on the 5e board, so I thought I'd mention that there's also the Pathfinder pdf edition out today as well. (it's the book pre-order with the pdf available immediately on pre-order, I think the pdf is also available separately). Check out the author...

QUESTS OF DOOM For D&D 5E Is Here!

Possibly but not probably. We work with a few retail stores, but since we don't go through a distributor the vast majority of stores simply don't know about us. Even stores that do know about us often make their orders exclusively through a distributor's catalog, just for simplicity/tracking...

[Frog God Games] Quests of Doom Adventure Book

Just to mention, this Kickstarter includes a Swords & Wizardry version as well as the Pathfinder one. That should work as written with any Classic edition, and convert to 1e on the fly. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/froggodgames/quests-of-doom-pathfinder-and-swords-and-wizardry v

    D&D 5E (2014) So, 5e OGL

Here's the summary of a long post that I'll mirror on my blog: If D&D doesn't allow third party publishing, it forces the 3rd party publishers to compete with D&D, using the Pathfinder system. Or whatever, but mainly Pathfinder. They have the choice of recruiting a mass of competitive allies, or...

    D&D 5E (2014) FGG/Necromancer Games teases 5th Edition Foes

Machpants, you will have seen them before if you've got Monstrosities and Tome of Horrors. The new material is all in the Adventure Book, Quests of Doom, unless you count Steve's conversions to 5th edition as being new. Wizards says that they will have conversion guides eventually, so if you...

    D&D 5E (2014) SRD5 - A Clone of Part of D&D 5E Basic

Thanks for splitting it off from the Necromancer Games thread -- what's being done in this SRD5 is completely different from what Necromancer is doing, and if the discussion gets into legal analysis, which it almost certainly will, they would get intertwined. Necromancer is publishing materials...

    D&D 5E (2014) Necromancer Games - 3 5E books announced!

Well, I hope this thread doesn't become sidetracked into what's being attempted with this SRD5 thing.

One of them, yes. I'm currently powering through the remainder of Cyclopean Deeps to clear the decks. :)

    D&D 5E (2014) Necromancer Games - 3 5E books announced!

Question 1, definitely yes. They will cost more, in that the shipping won't be free. Question 2, I don't know for sure. I think it's a good bet that a couple of adventures will include monsters from the monster book, but since the adventures aren't written yet, it's not possible to give a firm...

    D&D 5E (2014) Necromancer Games - 3 5E books announced!

Okay, Cat's out of the Bag. :) This is pretty accurate, although we have staggered planned completion dates for writing. The flagship brand-new content is the adventure book, and even there I think three adventures are conversions (Bill Webb's). This is also where the work is divided into...

    D&D 5E (2014) The Wizard's Amulet returneth!

If you have a page after the legal disclosure, you have the most recent version. If not, and you aren't seeing it when you re-download, your computer isn't following the order to download because it thinks it already has the file. I had to restart my browser to make it work.
