Never let the players have high explosives, unless you can deal with it when they actually use them. Thermal detonators make HUGE explosions.

Why don't you just rename the Bard as Cultist, switch the word Arcane for Divine, rename Bardic Knowledge as Forgotten Lore, and rename Bardic Music as Tempting Whispers, make them prepair spells, make spells Wis based, alter the skill list, and then do one of the following: Change HD to d8...

Then put him in a position where he will hammer his own party members to save his ass. Then, once he's weakened the party, KO them (but don't kill them), use spells/psi to drain their Wisdom scores to 1 or 2, then Dominate them. Later, have the other PCs go after the evoker. :D

rapid shot/sneak attack/arterial strike it while hasted with arrows of wounding, and then walk away to watch it die. If the PCs aren't in a rush, it's a great feat, especially when used in conjunction with multiple attacks and wounding weapons.
