    Any other vegetarians / vegans?

Well said. I was wanting to say something similar myself, but wasn't able to find a way to say it diplomatically (like you just did).

    Any other vegetarians / vegans?

I have met one person who was raised vegetarian from birth who ate meat as an adult, and have heard of others. AFAIK, it's no different for them them it is for someone who had been vegetarian for several months, then went back to meat-eating.

    Running Gags

In a D&D game, a foe was attacking us with a large hammer that the DM referred to as a "big-a**" hammer. People decided to interpret that as a big "a**-hammer" instead. After that, and for the rest of the campaign, people made references to "ass-hammers", like "can my character take exotic...

Which do you prefer out of a Level 1000 characther?

Hmm, once you have EWP for all exotic weapons, then weapon focus, weapon specialization, improved weapon focus, and improved weapon specialization for all weapons, as well as every other fighter feat from every D20 book out there, you can still take toughness. Lots and lots of toughness. :p

    Explain Canada

So are Canadian geese referred to as just "geese" up there? How about the other kind of geese, for that matter? :p

    Any other vegetarians / vegans?

I was just curious how many other vergetarians or vegans were on EN World. I'm a vegetarian who eats a mostly vegan diet myself. :)

    Post your recipes

This is yummy, but a very easy and quick dinner (a requirement in our household): Karl's Salsa rice 1 1/2 cups dry rice (white or brown, as desired) 2 cans black beans 1 cup corn 1 diced bell pepper (red or green) 1 1/2 cups of your favorite salsa 1/2 tsp cumin Cook the rice in the usual way...

    Would you buy pre-made campaigns?

The only one I have was Night Below many moons ago. I would now if something seemed interesting enough.

Are there any published epic-level adventures?

I run an occasional game where the party has managed to work its way up to epic levels. While I have ideas of my own for some adventures, I wouldn't mind running a module if I could make it fit into my campaign. It seems that the time to make adventures keeps going up as the party level...

Funny gamer moment at my table

    I'll admit that I don't get it. :o

    only 2.5 players...need advice

You might want to consider using the gestalt rues from UA (two classes at once for each character). This will at least allow a greater range of roles in the party.

What's your favorite D&D character sheet?

Thanks everyone. I like the retro 1e-style one very much.

Its a new campaign and your DM offers you the following options

I've been toying with the idea of running a single-race mini-series or one-shot for quite some time; it sounds like a blast to me. I have a wacky idea for an all half-orc game: a city decides to expel its entire half-orc population based on the actions of an infamous half-orc assasin who has...

What's your favorite D&D character sheet?

I'm looking for a good, printable D&D character sheet. Anyone have any recommendations? Edit: I forgot to specify that I was looking for a 3.5 Edition character sheet.

    EL Calculation for innebriation

I'm thinking that there should also be some minor advantage to drunkenness, but I'm not sure what. Pain doesn't seem to bother people as much when drunk, so maybe something reflecting that (can operate for 1 round at negative hit points before falling unconscious, perhaps).

    Half-Elves: Underpowered

In 3.0, Half-Elves had no special abilities that were strictly their own; they only had watered-down elf abilities, and the most minor ability from their human side (favored class: Any). In 3.5, they at least get the +2 to diplomacy and gather info, which would be handy for a bard character...

    Swapping feats?

Just wondering if anyone has a house rule allowing characters to swap out previously-selected feats new feats at any point. Maybe a workable system would be starting at 6th-level, a character could trade the feat selected at first level for another feat, if he desires, and at 9th-level, he...

    Warforged: Armor Proficiency?

After having written the above, now I'm not so sure. If what I said was true, then a warforged monk could get the adamantite body feat without any problem, and that doesn't seem right. I do remember that Warforged druids are explicitly allowed, and that they are always proficient in their own...

    Warforged: Armor Proficiency?

Additionally, I remember reading that it doesn't actually count as wearing armor, even though it has many of the same effects, and takes up the armor slot on the body, so I'm pretty sure there are no restrictions for warforged druids.

    Any Underground Giants?

Has anyone seen a type of giant in any published product that lives primarily underground? I was about to roll my own, but I thought I'd check to be sure I'm not duplicating something that's already out there. I was thinking a supernatural ability to reduce size at will would get round the...
