By that logic, do you think the ranger class having 6 skill points/level is also unbalancing?

Taking away the +4 STR and the powerful build ability would do the trick, I'm sure. ;)

Other than the ranger, are there any other classes or prestige classes that give full BAB progression and 6 or more skill points/level?

Does anyone else have a Palm OS device and carry around a copy of the SRd with them? If so, what version of the SRd did you use, and how did you convert it to a Palm-friendly format? I've tried converting various HTML versions to Plucker format, but the tables get all messed-up this way...

Logically speaking, I'd say yes, even if it isn't directly supported by the rules. Unless the creature has DR 15/ground or some such. :p

My current PC in a mini-series I'm playing in is gay, but it hasn't ever come-up in play. It's possible the mini-series will end without it ever being revealed, since there are only two more sessions!

A quick fix would be swapping DEX and WIS, and taking the Zen Archery feat from Complete Warrior, as mentioned by djrdjmsqrd. I also like the elven racial substitution level idea to do ranged smite. Would be quite a unique paladin, for sure.

FYI, I decided to go with a human in the end, partially because I never play humans, and partially for the extra feat (especially since I plan on taking some of the dragonic feats from CA).

I've always wanted to have a full set of dice made of varnished wood, but I've never seen one before. Do these exist anywhere? I've seen wooden d6's, but that's about it.

I say go with Commoner as the base for 0-level, then replace with the first level of whatever class was chosen. That way, you don't have to worry about losing any abilities when you level-up. :)

There's no rules for it, but I'd probably allow it, so long as it didn't bother the other players.
