personaly I'd keep SHatter. Shatter their weapons every single round. Without a weapon, they do less damage, higher survivability of the characters.

Survivor... Woke up in somewhere they don't know. They have to try to figure it out. Toss anything and everything at them without rhyme or reason. Have people with guns have scimitar wielding amazons, have space aliens. Then when they get hurt, use the star wars system. Have fun witht he force.

I'd go with a +1 spell storing. before fighting have a spell caster put a spell in it. also the spell stored can be released as a free action whenever you hit the target. good options for spells - shocking grasp - disrupt undead - daze - chill touch - summon swarm - ghoul touch - dispel magic...
