    Real world clothing stinks

Gotta say that the support for men in kilts and 'unbifurcated' garments on Garb the World and Kiltmen.com are really awesome. I feel so repressed. I'm actually being serious here.

[Defunct] A Dark and Stormy Night

Well I am still lurking around and would be happy to pick things up again if you are up to it. Some of you fine folks have been playing this game for over a year know. That's pretty impressive. I'll have been involved for a year if we make it to November. :)

It totally was me. That's pretty awesome. We didn't even realize it! I believe you actually spelled it Unger on the character sheet by the way ;). There wasn't that much left on the isle that you hadn't an idea of. There was a trio of medusae with a 'pet' gorgon. Which are extremely deadly in...

I know. Seems we got the info in to late to be on the official schedule. Ah well. Maybe I'll see you at table 7.

I'm going to be running an OSRICTM adventure Stone Giant's Isle A First Edition Fantasy adventure for character levels 6-9. A colossal stone figure dominates the cliffs of this isle, giving its name. The place has been shunned for centuries as ships either disappear or turn up near its waters...

DM'ing my first adventure by myself!

If you can't use a cliché starting for a group of brand new players who can you possibly use them on? I love having new players because you can fall back on the old reliable clichés and its brand new to them!

Thanks for the link. Anyone know if there is a method to pre-register for specific games. The other relevant schedule link for RPGs is here. Unfortunately my 1e/OSRIC game is not on the schedule, guess we got in the details to late. Not sure if they'll update it. When I find out the details...

    FanExpo 2009 August 28-30, Toronto

Hmmm, haven't heard of it and googling it results in nothing. It would be a confusing name to pick for a con as there is a Palladium RPG book company . . . There's the Playdium out in Mississuaga that's a arcade/kids fun place. In terms of other con's (that aren't really in the Toronto area . ...

[3.5] A Dark and Stormy Night

Dacen rushes as quickly as he can towards the leader, moving in barehanded for a grapple (first thing next round). Init (1d20+2=20) I believe he can get next to the leader in a move action if adjusted by 5ft first. Note Dacen has improved unarmed strike. Dacen HP: 12 Current: 12...

[3.5] A Dark and Stormy Night

Sorry, Dacen did give back the sword, the purpose of course was so that Norim would have a magic weapon!

Well this is the first I've heard of it. A quick shoot over to the Silver Snails website only dug up some comments on last years event. So is it Friday? Saturday? etc. apppreciate any more details. Glad to here that another person is making it to the con.

Out of curiosity what have you run in the past, did you get a good 'crowd'? If anyone is interesting in volunteering and running some board games and RPGs with a games company (Polymancer, their website seems to be down at the moment or I'd link) the one I'm volunteering with is still looking...

[3.5] A Dark and Stormy Night

Dacen pauses, chews his lip and closes the curtain. He turns to the others and whispers "Some rite seems to be taking place beyond my line of sight in some kind of sacrophagus. Norim pass me your sword." Taking the blade in hand Dacen cast magic weapon upon it. It begins to shed a faint glow...

So who else is plannning on attending the FanExpo? This is actually my first time going and I'll be volunteering with a games company and will be running some board games and an RPG session or two. (Working out the details on the RPG sessions right now.) Anybody else been there before, or have...

    EN Worlders Open Playtesting?

Thanks Guillaume. Looking forward to hearing what you think, and how those encounters play out. I found guessing at the CR for an 'average group' to be fairly difficult. Anybody have some thoughts on getting CR's right as a writer? Or from playtesting things?

[Defunct] A Dark and Stormy Night

Well the contest is on going, there's a rolling monthly deadline so you should give it a whirl. Chris Terengza(not sure if I just spelt the last name right) who runs 6d6 Fireball gives some really useful feedback at all steps through the process. Anywho, looking forward to hearing what you...

[3.5] A Dark and Stormy Night

Listens for a moment the breaks into a jog. He holds the torch aloft while grabbing for his mace, his eyes and ears strainning to determine both the direction of the cries and for potential pitfalls. Spot and listen (1d20+2=16, 1d20+2=22)

    EN Worlders Open Playtesting?

Apparently all the pathfinder playtesters are all tired out by talking about it for so long ;). Unfortunately, the open playtest of the Sanctum of the Fiery Ladder has yet to generate any feedback:-S.

Big Collaborative Dungeon Thing at The Delver's Dungeon!

Well this is certainly an interesting project. Nothing immediately springs to mind but I mean to keep my eyes on its development, and my brain turning over ideas. Hopefully something small will pop in to mind in a month or so.

[Defunct] A Dark and Stormy Night

Graybeard, your comment in game struck me as absolutely hilarious. Something about the (normally) timid Dacen jumping down the column, then I picture this exasperated look on your characters face. As an aside, I hope you do all check out the adventure in my sig. I'm really excited about it...
