Goodman Games Releasing 4e Adventures Prior to October 1st

By following existing laws? Um....OK..... Sorry, but no. You're quite mistaken. Copyright law is very specific, especially in this category.

How does the GSL affect me?

Exactly. The most experienced publishers will most likely stay away from the GSL, because of all of the red-flag clauses within it. So, you'll see a flood of amateur products, most of which will be crap. As a result, Hasbro will then rescind the GSL, citing protection of their brand...

Seeking True20 publisher - Established world, art already done

No, it isn't. Not even a little bit. The largest portion of the cost of creating a hardcover book are the production costs -- the printing and binding of the physical product. Given that, a few hundred "instant sales" isn't enough to even consider the project.

[3.5/OGL] Foe Factory fantasy product from Adamant?

Right now, we're sort of on hold for fantasy products -- we need to see how the 4E release is affecting the market. Is there still a sizable market for 3.5-compatible product? Is it worth our time to do this? That's what we need to figure out -- so we've got our ear to the proverbial...

The Odyssey System -- Stripped-down Hot Rod d20 rules

Decided to slow down a bit through June -- mostly so we could see how the 4E Juggernaut affects the market. The last thing we want to do is throw this out there and have it go unnoticed because everybody is purchasing, playing and talking about The New Hotness (tm).

    Imperial Age: 2008 Subscription

http://adamant.rpgnow.com/images/92/23631.jpg Ladies and Gentlemen: As we've mentioned on our forums, the bonus-quarter extension of the 2007 Imperial Age subscription has now expired. The latest product, IMPERIAL AGE: FISTICUFFS & SWORDPLAY was not covered by the 2007 subscription. However...

The Odyssey System -- Stripped-down Hot Rod d20 rules

Possibly -- we definitely need to do something with MARS, because, bluntly, the straight OGL version isn't selling as well as we had hoped.

THRILLING TALES 2nd Edition: Cover Art

To be completely honest, we might answer the odd question in the Odyssey System thread (linked above), but we're in the home stretch right now, and finishing up the book for release has our priority.

The Odyssey System -- Stripped-down Hot Rod d20 rules

It's similar to Mutants & Masterminds' damage system (a CON-based saving throw), with results tracked on a condition chart similar to the sort used Star Wars Saga Edition, or the stress track in FATE/SOTC. The possible results of being hit are: No effect, or one or more steps on the...

The Odyssey System -- Stripped-down Hot Rod d20 rules

I'm not sure what more you're looking for here. Yes, as I said, we have a number of genre-emulation rules, which include systems for handling groups of mixed-level heroes. If you're demanding more specifics, all I can say is wait a few weeks and check out the PDF for free!

THRILLING TALES 2nd Edition: Cover Art

After securing the second-use rights for the original JUSTICE INC. artwork from Steve Peterson, I've been at work developing its use as the cover to THRILLING TALES 2nd Edition -- our stand-alone new version of our top-selling pulp line, which will use our 'stripped-down hot-rod' version of the...

    Answers on the GSL!

I keep seeing gamers going on about how the term "product line" is confusing and/or vague. Buh? Not sure why that particular meme is growing. "Product Line" is a very specific term for publishers. The response here is quite clear....and far, far better than the rumored "poison pill."
