S2 White Plume Mountain. it has to be done old school to appreciate the map and traps. edit: similarly the C series. C1 and C2 in particular rely on mapping as well to cause some kinks for the scenarios.

i'm not sure about OSR. i don't do more than convert it to OD&D(1974). but as for stacking you really have to work out mechanics for each and apply them as the campaign demands.
