That's what I was going to post. It seems like it might be another Adventure Series game, or more minis/expansions for some of those.

I wouldn't ask for much. Just a series of shorter, old-style modules. I like the Adventure Paths, I'd just like to see more traditional module based adventures as well.

I have a copy of their character sheet, but I only reference it for things like passive perception, or if they have a question about how a feature works, or what to roll. It makes it easier to help them, especially with newer players.

The rule covers "smaller" spaces, not "thinner" spaces, so it would apply to both dimensions. The example given is for a thinner space, but that's just an example, not a rule in itself.

Have you played the Caves of Chaos? There was a Next version included in the playtest materials, so it was already somewhat 5E ready. It would need some tweaking for the final 5E rules, but there's lots of great exploration there.
