I prefer the current system, higher level characters got more wealth so the can afford better equipment, it also keeps bounded accuracy bounded. Warder

Mainly storywise, it just add headaches to my game, I like heroic fantasy, having a warlock that is bind to the nine hells or something won't easily fit, otoh In a game dedicated to it and built around the warlock can be a very very nice option. warder
