Yes, it's wrecking havoc with daily travel rates, and the LMoP map was commissioned before they settled on the 6 mile hex instead of the 5 miles hex. In my LMoP I just told all the players that each hex is 6 miles across instead of 5 since it's such a small change, dealing with the 10 miles hex...

You can also pick any of the modules that's been out over the last year and a half and ramp up the encounters by adding monsters. Warder
