    "Well, what's wrong with slavery?"

I wondered how long it would be before someone mentioned this comic! [emoji1] Trump was featured CONSTANTLY. I may be mistaken, but I believe that in one story arc, Trump had his brain surgically implanted in a cat.

    Need Magic Item

Ha. Meat shield. These are interesting points. We started the campaign today. They hired a couple of NPCs and the whole thing went very well....to a point. The magic user should technically be * ahem* dead, but I fudged one of the monster's attack rolls. I couldn't bring myself to kill their...

    "Well, what's wrong with slavery?"

I'm not intelligent to form a political opinion. Still, I wanted to post a link to Johnathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal." http://www.mercerislandschools.org/cms/lib3/WA01001855/Centricity/Domain/640/A%20Modest%20Proposal%20full%20text.pdf Because it's pretty funny.

    O.G.R.E. ratios

Hi all. I recently purchased the O.G.R.E pocket edition reprint, and I don't quite understand how to round off the ratios "in favor of the defender." If any O.G.R.E. fans could clarify this for me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks all!

D&D 5E (2014) Methods to split the party

Magically concealed pit trap drops open, and half of the party are dropped onto another level. You could even find someone else to DM one group at the same time, while you run the other, so that neither group is aware of the other until they somehow reunite at the prison.

    Need Magic Item

Hi all. I'm about to start a campaign using BFRPG rules, with only two players, family members that don't play RPG's. I really want them to survive and level up. They're both at level 1, one fighter and one magic user. I've explained the idea of hirelings, and I might have an NPC or two...

Live action Naruto movie to be made in the US

Yep, that must be it.What do we know anyway? I mean, aside from the fact that we INVENTED comics, AND movies, AND role-playing games, AND obsessive fanboy behavior......and the internet...... Of course, we also invented the HOLLYWOOD studio system, so.....irony. Also, who is this dude playin'...

Live action Naruto movie to be made in the US

The fact that it is going to exist is enough to warrant negativity. I applaud all of the delightful Prozac munching hippies and their happy thoughts. Don't come crying back here after you've blown 20 bucks on a ticket for this piece of crap. Aww, I'm sorry. This subject just gets me all worked...

    A Good Solo DnD-ish Boardgame

The 1e Dungeon Masters guide suggested that you could use random dungeon generation charts to create a dungeon as you explore it, for a solo game. I don't know 5e at all. I used to enjoy the game Barbarian Prince, and it's free to download now. http://dwarfstar.brainiac.com/ds_barbarianprince.html

    DriveThruRPG Hacked

Sheesh. The email drivethrurpg sent claimed that there's a 50% chance that my account information has been compromised. There's something ironically Gygaxian in that- I think drivethrurpg just asked me to roll d% to see if thieves stole my money.

Could the "Warcraft" movie completely over-shadow the "D&D" movie?

No..not really. The Enterprise is a massive ship. If it were to enter into a geosynchronous orbit around an inhabited planet ( which is a standard Trek procedure) the planet would be torn apart. Tsunamis would drown everyone. Trek is notorious for ignoring the laws of physics. It was never...

    D&D 5E (2014) Preventing Teleportation

Okay, I hate all of this silly' edition wars' nonsense, but with 1e the DM had a lot more freedom. We had books players weren't even supposed to read, and when we said something didn't work it didn't work.

You're the goddam DM. What you say goes. Rip his freaking arms off. End of discussion.
