I have given my vampires this kind of regeneration, only it only triggers when they are reduced to 0 hp. It keep tracking the hp to a minimum, and it works just as well for the players.

I know people have been making wonderful arguments, but my intent for this poll has been to check where people put their money when it comes to WotC published products as we know them now. I am not against the use of AI, I just prefer not to spend money on something that isn’t made by humans.

Working with the hypothetical of the poll. What if WotC’s next product was made with AI? By this I mean there is AI art in there, writing done with AI and the company is open about using it. Would you stop buying their products if you haven’t done so already?

Yes, but only if (clause) was supposed to take into account for the maybe’s. I think your answer falls squarely in that option.

Then you should answer “I do not buy WotC products regardless”.

Customer preference can stop AI from being used in products they would otherwise have preferred to buy :)

One person will never worry WotC. They don’t work like that. It’s exactly why I set up this poll. To get a sense of where the majority’s preferences lie (on this website, at this moment, who bothers to fill it in, located entirely in my kitchen)

I don't think we'll ever solve that this game has more ways to murder someone than to make a friend. The game is partly about weapons and fighting, it always has been.

I've been using the 2024 DMG encounter guidelines with 2024 monsters for both my 2014 game and my 2024 game. In both cases, I have found the numbers to work a lot better. 1. Legendary monsters are, IMO, much improved, but in quite a few instances, not enough. Solo monsters still lack the amount...

There is no scientific data to draw from for this. Don’t we all know there is no such thing as perfect proportions anyway? This whole subject creeps me out.

Thank you all for engaging with this subject! I can see we're getting into the weeds of personal preference, ethics and what AI means or societal adaptation to new technology. I don't think we can figure those out on our own. The reason I made this poll is because I feel strongly that I prefer...

Can you give an example of AI making better proportions? Because all I know is that such image generating code makes averages, instead of actual, unique human beings who all have different proportions. I just don't see how you can say that AI should be better when it clearly is based on the work...

It is relevant because it has proven me the opposite of your argument that AI is better at making art of women. If the data these AI’s use is ruined by our own preferences, then that doesn’t bode well.

I know people are running with the subject matter, but the only thing I want to know here is people will pay their own money on a WotC product similar to what they make now, only with “AI” generated content.
