D&D General Teased Lorwyn-Shadowmoor Supplement Crosses Magic: the Gathering and D&D

I just think they'll be able to transform. Tail for water, finned legs for land.

    D&D 5E (2024) Where to next, WotC?

I forget, did they say that the Red Wizards campaign was for 2025 or 2026?

    D&D 5E (2024) Where to next, WotC?

You know what, I forgot about the Red Wizards adventure. Seems like a big FR adventure path is also likely.

Yes, but how much hits can casters take?

D&D General If I had the D&D/WotC Worldbuider job, I would... (+ thread)

I think any new setting would have to support unique tones, game styles, and genres, the way Eberron did. As an Arab, I would love to take a crack at a new setting with Arab folklore (i.e. not Al-Qadim; if I'm doing a setting, it's all mine, and I wanna start from scratch). A fun adventure...

    D&D 5E (2024) Where to next, WotC?

I think they'll do Strahd again because the new MM has a bunch of new vampire types and other cool things they'd wanna throw in there. We'd get a cool alt cover and stuff. Here's an out there idea: they do an updated VRGR and a new Fizban style Undead-themed beastiary (updating all those shadow...

    D&D 5E (2024) Where to next, WotC?

Here's my predictions for 2026: Curse of Strahd 10th Anniversary Edition. Dark Sun. Adventure Anthology: World Tree themed. Feywild Setting/Beastiary, or an Undead Beastiary. Something out of Left Field "Everything" splatbook

D&D General What would your "fourth core rulebook" be?

A book of subsystems, such as naval combat, vehicles, mass warfare, exploration, crafting, harvesting, side businesses, lycanthropy, vampirism--systems not covered in the core rules, but seem to be common fodder for 3rd parties. I'd call it "The Character's Worldbook" or something like that

    D&D 5E (2024) Monster Manual Organisation

A lot of the demon and devil lore was moved to the DMG, for what it is worth.

Dungeons & Dragons Teases New Campaign Settings

In that same vein, karaoke should be renamed "substitute singing"

    D&D 5E (2024) What's Your 2026 WotC D&D Wishlist?

Since Eberron is coming out, I would like to amend my answer to include a Spelljammer book, one that actually details some places.

    D&D 5E (2024) What's Your 2026 WotC D&D Wishlist?

My wishlist: -More Radiant Citadel content. -Cities of the Multiverse: a series of Urban Adventures and City Gazetteers, with cities like The City of Brass, Tu'narath, Neverwinter, etc., as well as build-your-own-city tables, and urban subclasses, feats, n' such. -Bloomburrow MtG campaign...

Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual 2024 Preview

Renfield finally gets a statblock, lol. All these new vampire-adjacent statblocks makes me feel like Curse of Strahd will be up for a remaster in 2026.

D&D 5E (2024) 2025 Monster Manual All You Need to Know video link is up.

Someone does a funny voice. Jeremy pushes up his glasses. Something akin to "We wanted the art to tell a story." Easier to read, easier to run.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 edition questions

The Twilight Cleric is notoriously powerful (some say the most powerful subclass of any class). Maybe your DM thinks that combining it with the 2024 rules will somehow break the game. I personally think it is fine, but who knows?

    D&D 5E (2024) The Lackluster Ranger

I think the 2024 Ranger has a lot of its power in the subclasses. Interestingly, I made some level 1 pre gen characters for some people that had never played before (8 classes), and the table unanimously agreed that the ranger seemed the strongest. (Level 1 mind you). I think it's capable of...
