    D&D 5E (2014) Wish: additional 9th level slot

And what if he makes the same wish AGAIN?

    Dune RPG Details Emerge!

This reminds me of the great, lost "Dune" RPG from Last Unicorn Games, which, if memory serves, was killed when Wizards bought LUG.

D&D General Lamest D&D classes all time

I once created a 2e class called "The Ascetic", holy men who grew stronger if they renounced wealth, food or even water and had it been official, it would have been pretty high on that list.

D&D 5E (2014) Would it break the Ranger to give him Natural Explorer in every terrain?

Favored terrain is boring anyway. Let’s get rid of it. Rangers shouldn’t be the "Never get lost" class, they should be the "Let’s get lost in interesting /cool /rewarding ways" class.

    D&D 5E (2014) Ranger on a Warlock frame?

I love it. Some things here and there could be grouped or switched, but this is very close to my platonic ideal of what a ranger or hunter should be: someone who knows how to turn the wild into a weapon against his enemies (or a resource for his friends).

D&D General Companies Cut Ties With Judges Guild After Owner's Racist Posts

It’s a tragic turn of events but it would have been even worse if no one had called him on it.

D&D 5E (2014) On whether sorcerers and wizards should be merged or not, (they shouldn't)

You’re right, although I think it would be possible to build a relatively simple system based on the old "Dungeon Master" video game. The Sorcerer just picks a shape, an energy, a purpose and a metamagic effect and assembles it into an improvised spell. He could conjure for example a...

    D&D 5E (2014) Clerics Without Cantrips

I like this very much. It makes Clerics more distinctive and they feel more like divine casters.

D&D 5E (2014) On whether sorcerers and wizards should be merged or not, (they shouldn't)

Other games have managed to do it. You simply limit the efficiency of what can be accomplished, depending on the level (a damage cap, for example), and introduce a punishing mechanism that makes the whole "toying with raw magical energy" dangerous and explosive.

D&D 5E (2014) On whether sorcerers and wizards should be merged or not, (they shouldn't)

It's not just a question of spells. If Sorcerers could somehow conjure raw magical energy and go freestyle with it, they would have something distinctive that Wizards don't have.

D&D 5E (2014) On whether sorcerers and wizards should be merged or not, (they shouldn't)

What they have in common is that someone watching a Wizard and a Sorcerer side by side, casting their spells, would probably not be able to tell them apart, nor would someone watching a Wizard player and a Sorcerer player. As a class, Sorcerers don't have a strong flavor: they are mostly a...

    D&D 5E (2014) Ranger on a Warlock frame?

This. Instead of having the Ranger simply skip the wilderness exploration phase, let's have him "find" some things that make things easier: game, herbs, good terrain, good weather, allies, shelter, etc... It would make the exploring phase much more fun for everyone. "Well, somewhere on these...

D&D 5E (2014) On whether sorcerers and wizards should be merged or not, (they shouldn't)

I can imagine something similar to the way "World of Darkness" creatures gather power. While arcane classes get their spells by studying from a book, focusing on their magical heritage or making deals with a patron, divine casters would be able to fuel their spells by doing things that pleases...

D&D 5E (2014) African campaign setting, "Wagadu Chronicles" being developed by Twin Drums

Well, yeah, of course. Although I can't think of a recent example.
  16. The Mirrorball Man

D&D 5E (2014) African campaign setting, "Wagadu Chronicles" being developed by Twin Drums

Even better: I can imagine the whole setting by myself. But then I won't need "Wagadu", right?

Wouldn't it be helpful to know what male characters look like?
