Sorry I thought I looked but must have missed it. Yes if you got a 20 or better on your Dodge you don't need to make a Will save (its under Area - Perception Range for that rule). Basically instead of having to make a save vs. 1/2 if you make the Dodge you don't need to make the save at all.

I think I did the FTL -X speeds for a 9 already. The ship you have has a factor of 8, which is 512 times the speed of light or 2.3 days per parsec. Going to a 9 increase it to 729 times the speed of light or 1.6 days per parsec. Corvus is 13 parsecs away so either 30 or 20 days :)
