What deity does YOUR Cleric worship?

Right now have 10th level Cleric of Zeus. He's a holdover from a 1st edition game we converted over. The world is the DM's own so Zeus certainly fits along with everything else. Clerics in my opinion - are a great class to play. Good fighting ability AND decent magic. Real winners! --*Rob

    Character Sheets

Try the Char Sheet at one of the PBEM games I'm in: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Nex_Game/ Go into the files section - Nice basic Word sheet - you will have to join the game as a lurker - so don't go posting anything to the list! --*Rob

[Xbox] Dungeons & Dragons Heroes review

I was EXTREMELY disappointed the PS2 version was dropped in favor of Xbox only for this game. It was already far into development. I have a feeling Microsoft paid someone off to get exclusivity on this one... --*Rob

    [OT] Anyone good with cats?

Also - try taking him to the litterbox at least twice a day. This will give him the idea that he needs to use it, and if he does, he'll be "empty" and not able to leave you presents. --*Rob

    Married with Children and D&D

Two married couples and three guys (who are married but spouses don't play). We're all early to mid 30's, and some of us have gamed together since 1981! One couple has 2 kids, the other couple does not. Myself and one of the other guys have kids on the way (my wife is due in mere days!) and...

    New Boards (Verdict?)

Actually, the point is - it is entirely the USER's option if you program your web page properly. I do agree - links should be a slightly different color, as should visited links. Should be able to put that in quite easily. --*Rob

    New Boards (Verdict?)

Actually, it's not a standard, since most web browsers let you turn off underlined hyperlinks. As a personal preference, I don't like underlined hyperlinks. However, you can set it so that the browser default is used, rather then forcing it to underline or not. I think this is what needs to...

    New Boards (Verdict?)

How about links being underlined? Is there a way for you guys to turn that off? My browser is definitely set for them to be off, yet they are all underlined. Drives me batty seeing a zillion things underlined on a page! --*Rob

    New Boards (Verdict?)

Two issues: 1 - Underlined links are forced on. I have my browser set for them to be off, can you set it back to browser control for underlined links? 2 - the pink/purple GENERAL graphic is too bright - and since it's used on just about every post unless someone remembers otherwise - it might...

    Game Stores in NYC

I'm sorry to hear your experience in New JErsey was poor. I'm sure we can make it up to you - we're more than just the nasty looking sections you go through to get to NYC. --*Rob

[OT] Sleep Apnea, Limes, Folic Acid and Weight Loss

Re: Re: Sleep Apnea here too, don't give up.... That's why I was suggesting the Nasal Aire - There's not a lot over the nose at all. IT's not a FULL MASK at all, it's very small. See: http://www.cpapman.com/nasalair.html Yep, those are also somewhat effective, but definitely not the best...

[OT] Sleep Apnea, Limes, Folic Acid and Weight Loss

Sleep Apnea here too, don't give up.... Let me just say that I too do need to lose weight, but I more than likely had apnea before I gained weight , so it's likely that losing weight will not help. That being said - I accept my fate on the CPAP machine for the time being. So let me say this...

Marketing and passing D&D down to kids

Expand on this a bit - I don't agree with your statement that kids exposed at an early age continue to like those things later in life. I had a relatively "mainstream" upbringing - exposed to all the usual kid stuff - so how did I end liking D&D? And I'm sure there are kids out there exposed...

What It's Like For a Gamer Girl

Afrodyte - have you read "Men Are From Mars, Women are from Venus"? If not - it's worth a read - a lot of what you are detailing comes from the base differences in the two sexes and the way they communicate. Granted, not all of it is explained that way - but a lot of it is. Let me take this...

[OT] Looking for a free MP3 Broadcast Service

Spinner is run by Netscape - which is part of AOL Time/Warner - you're not going to be able to set up a station on them - their stations are all part of Spinner.com - which is a big site that programs their own stations - they don't let little guys set up little stations. The beauty of Live365...

[OT] Looking for a free MP3 Broadcast Service

You're not going to find any. WIth the DMCA - the artists must get paid their royalties - and that includes internet broadcasts. I did a lot of research, and Live365 - at $7.95 a month for the most basic broadcasts - is still the best bargain around. --*Rob
