We dropped D&D 3.5 for Pathfinder 1e until it ended, Starfinder until we agreed to never again, and now Warhammer 4e and next up Zweihander. I don't suspect we will ever play D&D again. It does not seem to be our kind of game. Which fine. There are a million others.

Honestly, I think d20 modern does a better job than starfinder still. Though Starfinders space combat is a little better. Easily adaptable to any other d20 game I think. We moved to Mongoose Travaller instead, and while not d20, it gives you all the crunch Starfinder felt like it lacked.

My two tables put a lot of effort into Starfinder but both groups found, they just didn't like it. I am not suprised by the drop off.

If I like it, the next product I get from the publisher, I will pay for. This has lead me to buy everything a certain small publisher has produced. Shout out to Trollish Delver.
