    Ken Frank (D&D illustrator)

Yeah, definitely could be! There isn't much in the way of full human figures on the Greyhawkery page to compare to, and vice versa I don't think we will see undead, dragons, or medieval style architecture in the Milwaukee newspaper, but I agree that the style is close enough to be believable...

    Ken Frank (D&D illustrator)

Maybe someone with better Google-fu than me can find something that makes a clear connection?

    Ken Frank (D&D illustrator)

There are two men named Ken Frank whom I believe are probably the same person, but I am wondering if anyone can prove it for sure. The first Ken Frank I was aware of was a man who did D&D artwork for TSR throughout the 1990s...

    Gone but not forgotten

Wow, I really let this one get out of date... I may need to compile this thread and start over. Meanwhile, catching up. In 2014 after DAT, we had Scott Ciencin: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Ciencin In 2015 to keep it simple for the moment with just one link, we lost John Hill, Brett...

    D&D General Monster ENCyclopedia: Lamia

Well, I do agree that Wizards should appreciate the work that Echohawk does and put that to good use. :)

    D&D General Monster ENCyclopedia: Lamia

Only I suspect that Echohawk would rather not get sued by Wizards for copyright infringement. ;)

    D&D General Monster ENCyclopedia: Barghest

Right. There are so many D&D monsters inspired by real-world mythology that we just kind of lump it all together. ;)

Right, but I think that article was written before a lot of that happened.

D&D General Monster ENCyclopedia: Hook Horror

You are stepping up your game! Fantastic work, here. :)

Hmmm, that may definitely be worth noting... I may come up with something from that yet! And that line is probably the most accurate yet! A lot kinder than all the people screaming for his blood. ;)

Video game adaptations of tabletop hobby games

Right, of course that is interesting, but not surprising... D&D and other RPGs influenced video game development almost from the start. But I am looking more for straight adaptations than influences. :)

Not very useful. One thing that maybe someone will have access to, though: The 2014 edition of Designers & Dragons notes that in Pyramid #25 (May/June 1997), there was an article about Traveller by Timothy Brown called “The Classic Science-Fiction Roleplaying Game Returns” that does mention...

Video game adaptations of tabletop hobby games

Like I said, D&D is a subcategory of the Video games based on tabletop RPGs category.

    Nope, what's on there?

Video game adaptations of tabletop hobby games

Am I missing any that you can think of? Anything at all? Video games based on tabletop RPGs (D&D is a subcategory): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Video_games_based_on_tabletop_role-playing_games Video games based on miniatures games...
