hmm! i'll be honest and say that i came up with each of my ideas before skimming through the thread, but wow, looks like most of them reflects what others are thinking... that can't be a bad sign. ;)

OK, here are my eight OTOH, in no particular order. i don't care how feasable they would be, because you told me i'm in charge. :D Nostalgia Monster Book: Yeah, this one is pure fan-service. Granted, yeah, we have the Tome of Horrors, but I think a lot of people want to see a full color book...

i really enjoyed the Demonomicon Apochrypha - just wish it could have been longer and covered more demon lords! James, what are the chances that you might do another one like this for the DI? :)

hmm, good point that. i guess i was thinking of some comments regarding the DI and converting old monsters/spells/etc and how "the well has gone dry". maybe that was an isolated comment that just got me riled up. ;)

i'm less likely to think that the idea of "faster play" and "less prep time" means i'll give up on converting monsters to the new edition, unless these concepts mean limiting monsters. such as, "oh, the beholder can only have two eye rays now because eight is too many" and "a creature can't...

give it at least a year before we need 5E threads! ;) hmm, let's see, if i've got my numbers right... 1E lasted about 12 years 2E lasted about 10 years 3E lasted about 8 years... so, in 2014 we should expect to see 4E!

yeah, there's enough other companies that have tried to do that. ;) what i do hope is that with the DI, Wizards takes a look at the "updated nostalgia" aspect of what Paizo did with the mags and keep running with that, rather than stick with their recent "if it's old, it's bad - we only want...

my one piece of advice: get off of living with roommates as soon as you reasonably can. :) "good" roommates, in my experience, are few and far between.
