There was a D&D novel where this happened, Rust Monsters were used as a weapon to take out I think Iron Golems.

Personally I'd cut those jobs and just hire well educated immigrants from a variety of countries as designers instead, which I think we better achieve their gods more effiently, and increase productivity, while maintaining diversity.

The product is way too tiny for a setting as big as Planescape, it's completely focused on the Outlands/Sigil with nothing for the rest of the Outer Planes, and the canceled the RW deities that are actually important to the setting. It wasn't all bad, but it was disappointing in the extreme...

I think there will be some new setting books, Tarkir & Bloomborrow eventually and the next classic setting will be Mystara, it's no accident it showed up in Worlds & Realms.

I personally think Mystara will be next classic setting updated, in it's day it was very popular and highly supported. And it got a chapter in Worlds & Realms, unlike Birthright or Darksun. I think they want to retool their approach to D&D war gaming before they do Birthright again.

Yes unlocking setting for dmsguild is pretty important.

I have the book you linked too and read his forward, it's usually in that it's grand tale in it's own right. And disliking the forward of the so called History book doesn't mean your anti inclusive, it means you simply don't agree with Tondo. Joe has never said anything racist, or homophobic...
