D&D 5E (2024) So what's going on with the October book?

The Horror UA does NOT fit Shadowmoore at all. It's dark fey not Frankenstein. I mean it could be bumped till next year, I think the Shadowmoore/Lorwyn book is certainly next year, but I think the October Surpise was Ravenloft, it might have gotten bumped too.

Eberron: Forge of the Artificer Delayed Until December

This year is so crazily back loaded. First 3 quarters of the year, MM, Dragon Delve, and Starter Set. Last Quarter of the Year October Surprise (probably Ravenloft), November 2 big FR books, and December Eberron. We've gotten less in some years then in Q4 2025.

Eberron: Forge of the Artificer Page Count, Contents Revealed

Honestly disappointed. So boring they did basically the minimum amount of effort. Like wtf do they do all day? I was expecting at least a new subtype for some species. The creature type changes I predicted long before this, like Kalastar becoming Aberrations, which is one of the onl Outside...

New R.A. Salvatore Novel, Starring Drizzt's Daughter, Title and Synopsis Revealed

If Mary Sue's offend you, this might not be the novel series for you 🤣. I kid but it's seems like she's 95% Monk, with maybe a feat magic initiate or a slight multiclass Cleric (for now I lean towards cleric because I saw no sign of a spellbook, outside change of Sorcerer maybe, but cleric is...

Eberron: Forge of the Artificer Page Count, Contents Revealed

Where as FR is the opposite, SCAG will functionally be the supplement to the up coming FRPG, even if the SCAG came out like a Decade ago.

Eberron: Forge of the Artificer Page Count, Contents Revealed

Given that I hope the 2024 species versions are different enough from the 2014 version to be interesting.

Dungeons & Dragons Shifts to Franchise Model, Dan Ayoub Named as Head

Also I also found it strange that MtG had no tie in worth mentioning for D&Ds 50 anniversary. Huge missed opportunity. Like not even secret lair. Nothing tying into the new edition, nothing. This really feels like it explains alot. A complete lack of synergy. I wonder if it has to do with...

D&D General More details on what to expect from the Player's Guide to the Forgotten Realms from Polygon, Massive Amount of Spells & Feats

Well for one thing, magic works very differently on Abeir then Toril, it's in general a much lower magic setting and perhaps despite that more fantastical. We get a taste of Abeir directly in I think in the novel The Devil You Know.
