D&D General More details on what to expect from the Player's Guide to the Forgotten Realms from Polygon, Massive Amount of Spells & Feats

And Primordials, Laerakond was the one where Dragons revolted against the Primordials, but ironically Laerakond MIGHT still be on Toril instead of switched back when Maztica returned. Shyr on the other hand I believe is more Primordial ruled still, an empired run by Genasi.

D&D General More details on what to expect from the Player's Guide to the Forgotten Realms from Polygon, Massive Amount of Spells & Feats

I figure Kara Tur, Zakhara, Maztica, and Laerakond, and maybe Shyr on Abeir (those 5 have been the only FR Continents besides Faerun properly explored & detailed for FR, (Achrome, Katashaka, Osse only get rare tidbits) might get at most a page each, and if we are really, really lucky a map (and...

D&D General More details on what to expect from the Player's Guide to the Forgotten Realms from Polygon, Massive Amount of Spells & Feats

I'm pretty sure the lion share of the book will still be a setting update, it's HUGE setting. This is going to clearly be a big, chunky book.

D&D General More details on what to expect from the Player's Guide to the Forgotten Realms from Polygon, Massive Amount of Spells & Feats

I'm surprised we haven't had a what 2014 Subclasses/Feat/Spells/races break partly or fully when trying to use them with 2024 rules.

D&D General More details on what to expect from the Player's Guide to the Forgotten Realms from Polygon, Massive Amount of Spells & Feats

https://www.polygon.com/gaming/514939/dragon-delves-eberron-borderlands-forgotten-realms-announcement-release-date-price I don't know how I missed this article given it came out at the same time the Subclass playtest did. It confirms the general Setting update for the whole setting, not just...

D&D 5E (2014) Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

I think they explicitly saving the whole race/creature lore more setting books then in 2014 is why 2024 has less lore and more crunch.

D&D General Arcane Subclasses UA Survey is up

If folks are worried about the Enchanter being too creepy, perhaps buff spells like Calm Emotions so it has more benifits, like healing when cast on allies.

D&D 5E (2024) Lorwyn Eclipsed, the MtG set releases January 2026, could tge Lorwyn D&D be released concurrently?

I want Noggles to be playable too, they feel the most unique, but still practical to be played.

D&D 5E (2014) Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

This is the part I'm most curious about.

Dungeons & Dragons: Ravenloft: Heir of Strahd Review

Was there any settings back in the TSR days where the RPG outsold the novels?

D&D General Canada's Contributions To D&D On Canada Day

Just thought I'd start a Canada Day thread to celebrate Canada & Canadians contributions to D&D. The most obvious is Ed Greenwoods creation of the Forgotten Realms. I believe Chris Perkins is Canadian too? Any others come to mind?

Planescape Which Planescape faction do you most closely identify with?

None. I loved the factions as kid, but now that I have a better understanding of philosophy and setting, I find them to be terrible and not well designed.

Dungeons & Dragons: Ravenloft: Heir of Strahd Review

I believe that Heir in Heir of Strhad doesn't refer to the title of Darklord, but to siring Vampires.

Dragons Are Girl's Best Friend *Song*

Funny, but beautifully sung song by Whitney Avalon, Ginny Di, and a third woman who I think I've seen before playing D&D on the official channel, but I don't recall her name. All have incredible voices & talent.

New D&D Unearthed Arcana Reveals Two New Subclasses for Monk and Sorcerer, Plus Revamps For Seven More

Arcana Domain should be able to use its Channel divinity on the spells of allies as well.

New D&D Unearthed Arcana Reveals Two New Subclasses for Monk and Sorcerer, Plus Revamps For Seven More

What subclasses do you think those would have? For Martial maybe a Circle of Blades Druid? Brawler Fighter? Divine first one that comes to mind is Divine Soul Sorcerer.

New D&D Unearthed Arcana Reveals Two New Subclasses for Monk and Sorcerer, Plus Revamps For Seven More

Given this is Arcane subclasses, does anyone think we could also get Martial & Divine subclass UAs?

New D&D Unearthed Arcana Reveals Two New Subclasses for Monk and Sorcerer, Plus Revamps For Seven More

The first two Arcane Archer and Arcane Domain are awesome, rock solid, although I'd man Arcane shot profiency times instead of Intelligence, awesome either way. Love both of them. Monks Nature Tatoos feel too situational. Hexblade still feels pointless with the fixed Blade. Ancestral...
