Dragonlance books without Raistlin were boring, IMO. I'm guessing others feel that way too. Time travel can bring back Raistlin - and allow for ret-conning. If that happens, could be interesting. If Raistlin fails to appear - sucks! :)

I loved running Feast of Goblyns and introducing my players to Ravenloft. My munchkin players didn't like Ravenloft so much. :LOL:

What's with all the (presumably) D&D 2E players??? That seems weird. (Especially since 1E isn't there.) (Unless they are all playing Planescape, which I would totally understand. :) )

Kudos to the D&D 5E team - what an amazing hit. PF2 seems to be struggling to convert over PF1E fans.

Same here. I absolutely loved Chronicles and Legends as a teenager (3+ decades ago). The novels after those weren't awful, but they did lack the "spark and energy" (as you say) for me as well. Maybe it was the character of Raistlin that was the best part of the original trilogies for me...

2+ years for 180 pages also seems a bit slow. (And, heck, if WotC does decide to do 6E for the 50th anniversary in 2024, we'd be approaching the time when interest in getting new 5E products may slow.)
