That seems way too complicated to ever become mainstream : you would need to learn to program 3D sculpting ? Unlikely that any significant part of the popuplation will be able to. Services like hero forge miniatures are likely to appear, and grow strong, but they won't be cheap.

To me Kickstarter worked fine, as about 90% of my backed projects delivered. There was often some delay, even long ones, but it mostly works. I have backed a great many Kickstarters, including this one, and my loss rate is about 10%. I did not really want to back this one, but the goodies made it irresistible, plus it was kind of a thank you for the Paizo team.

I think it is an awful idea at every level. Made out purely for those who do not want thee hassle of thinking and roleplaying.

I miss the IP monsters that have not been converted to Pathfinder. I miss the old campaign settings. And that's it : people you game with are more important than the rest. Cheers

well, they have really nice minis, but this one took way more long than the first. And then, I will guiltily admit I prefer their metal minis to the plastic ones.

All is good, if it allows new players into the hobby an easiest ride !

I think it is a fairly good idea

We have a serpent skull campaign on hiatus for now. I rather enjoyed it, except for the fact that the DM was not making enough effort to sell us the storyline and the exotic "african-like" continent. It is good (at least until the end of book three)
