    D&D 5E (2024) Armor as THP?

In Faresight, a 5e inspired space RPG, your armor is DR. You still roll to hit but that is what shields and dexterity improve while armor just makes you able to take a hit. They do use a low HP base like 10 + con then +1 per level

D&D 5E (2024) YART: Adding Ranger Spell Options to Class Features.

It was a UA spell from 8 years ago that never made it out of play test.

D&D 5E (2024) Gunslinger Class (from Valda's Spire of Secrets) on DnD Beyond!

In the updated artificer posted in the Eberron update they changed it so that weapons created by your replicate magic item can be used as an arcane focus. (I thought it was specific to artillerist but ai was wrong)

D&D 5E (2024) Power sources to disambiguate the 5e spellcaster classes

We don't need separate spices of magic we need vastly different sell list and unique mechanics.

D&D 5E (2024) So what's going on with the October book?

With the new d&d online Ravenloft expansion I think the chance of a Ravenloft book is decent

D&D 5E (2024) Gunslinger Class (from Valda's Spire of Secrets) on DnD Beyond!

The problem with Battlaster is that unless your gm allows older fears or allows you to rebuild the crossbow expert feat then you have a hard time being able to reload for multiple attacks. If they allow the crossbow expert feat to be refluffed for guns then you could dual wild pistols or use a...

D&D 5E (2024) Gunslinger Class (from Valda's Spire of Secrets) on DnD Beyond!

In the play test version of the artillerist you can use your gun as your focus instead of a wand, and since they added true strike you can use that with their lvl 5 feature getting the bonus d8 on top of the weapon attack. + Int +1d6 from your true strike.

D&D 5E (2024) Gunslinger Class (from Valda's Spire of Secrets) on DnD Beyond!

do the new artillerist with true strike on your gun. over the battle smith if you want a magitech character the spell list is just better thematically and mechanically. The BM is better if you want all the cool trick shots and fits Percy theme better

D&D 5E (2024) Gunslinger Class (from Valda's Spire of Secrets) on DnD Beyond!

Yeah Ted from Nerd Immersion does a very good breakdown of the class if anyone is interested. Each subclass is basically a different core class that is layered on to the chassis. Over all the base class is a little over powered and steps on everyone's toes. You crit better than a Champion...

    D&D 5E (2024) Psion Class: Green/Yellow/Red?

About two months or so if we are lucky

D&D 5E (2024) Gunslinger Class (from Valda's Spire of Secrets) on DnD Beyond!

I just prefer using guns as a Ranger, Fighter, Rogue, Artificer rather than have a dedicated class for them.

D&D 5E (2024) Gunslinger Class (from Valda's Spire of Secrets) on DnD Beyond!

You can find the class on Mage Hand Press web site along with the new firearm rules and a few subclasses. While I love renaissance level guns in my DND I just don't think. They need a whole class, also the firearm rules make it feel like you are far better off just using crossbows or the core...

Jason Carl on White Wolf's Return, Mage: The Ascension Plans

Chronicles of Darkness is owned at least in part by Onyx Path. Unfortunately when V5 came out they stopped producing much to focus on projects that they owned completely and are now releasing Curseborn which is their next revamp of Chronicles of Darkness but with a different twist.

    D&D 5E (2024) Psion Class: Green/Yellow/Red?

Usually you see the psychic healer and the metamorph as two different specialties, just like most pyrotechnics don't use telekinesis even though they are both under the same umbrella.

    D&D 5E (2024) Psion Class: Green/Yellow/Red?

If you wanted a points system I would just go with 1 point per level refreshes with a short rest. Then have the cost be 1 per spell level. You may only cast one spell of 6,7,8,9 per day. This gives them a great amount of versitility but makes them a little weaker than other spell casters, it...

D&D General Psionic species and subspecies, will they make a comeback too?

Yeah to me they don't feel like aberration I just remember that during one of the monster manual talks they said that creatures that had been warped by or heavily influenced by mind flayers and other aberations would be classified as aberations.

They said it was because they had been experimented on by the Illithad

D&D Debuts Playtest for Psion Class

My favorite Dark Sun character was a pyro+fire cleric although I do really love earth clerics as well.
