{DRAGON] Will there be a DRAGON Annual this year?

I suspect it's impossible for the people at Paizo to tell you that positive feedback "carries more weight" than negative, and actually I'm not even sure it should. If one person tells you an article was great, and 113 tell you it was worse than having a dead skunk mailed to them, which opinion...

    Monster, ECL's, and Epic feats

To the best of my knowledge there is no "official" answer for this. In my own games, I give some creatures with a CR of 21 or more access to Epic Level Feats, though I may well decide a creature doesn't have any. I like basing it on CR, since that represents the level of PC the creature is...

    SW- Force Points

Yes, once you spend a Force point, it's gone forever. They are a rare resource, which is one of the reasons they add to so much. The value of your Force point dice basically adds to any d20 roll you make during one round. So, any attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, saving throws you...

Dead Ale Wives - Summoner Geeks II

I have no idea if its available or where you would get it, but the movie is called "Dungeonmaster, Dungeonmaster, What Have You Done?" or "DM, DM, What Have You Done?" It involves a group of gamers summoning a demon (a hand puppet named Sucksface, IIRC) to fill in a missing player's slot. It's a...

    Steve Jackson Games d20 Magazine!

Fair enough, and to a limited extent I agree. It does seem offhand to me. He's already done the "Munchkins Guide to Powergaming," which took a poke at all roleplayers. I took this as no more than doing the d20 version, just like there are d20 versions of Call of Cthulu, Fading Suns, Deadlands...

    Steve Jackson Games d20 Magazine!

I had a much longer reply here written between the previous two posts, but not finished until after them. I want to leave a little of it, but sudden the rest strikes me as having the wrong tone Steve has (apparently) claimed real role-players don't use d20. Steve is wrong. I strongly doubt he...

RUMOR! SW Galaxies to use d20 engine

I strongly doubt this is actually the case. It takes a long time to write a computer game, and I suspect the revisions in the SWRCRB would not have been so extensive if there was any chance Galaxies was going to use a d20 engine based on the old rules.

    Steve Jackson Games d20 Magazine!

I must say I'm excited by the possibilities of this new venture. SJG has proven it can run a worthwhile, high quality web magazine. The list of talent in the first issue is impressive, and certainly Dale has the smarts and experience needed to edit such a thing, as well as the needed familiarity...

    Share your naming resources.

I have a pretty long list of resources I use for names. Obviously I like the Dragon and Pyramid articles on fantasy names, but I also have a lot of web resources I turn to. I don't think any of the following have been mentioned by anyone else yet...
