    D&D 5E (2014) Keith Baker: Exploring Eberron

New post, this time on how to formulate a fairy tale for use in an Eberron game. Honestly this advice is pretty setting-agnostic to using the fey, the Eberron bit is that's the examples. http://keith-baker.com/ifaq-stories/

This tweet to me implies we'll be seeing the book this month, but I may be wrong on that.

It'll be released when it's done. The producer and editor have publicly commented the book just keeps getting longer, which is delaying its release.

More Tairnadal Q&A. Frankly, I'm not sure even now I get what the metaphysical status of the Valenar ancestors is supposed to be - it feels like Keith shifts a bit every time it's asked. http://keith-baker.com/ifaq-eta/

Discord's servers are great for chatting between games, while Hangouts handles multi-video calls better.

    D&D 5E (2014) Playing DnD online

Yeah the game is in Hangouts and then Roll20 is the equivalent of pulling out the markers to draw on the map (I'm not the type of person who has a bunch of high quality terrain for in person games).

    D&D 5E (2014) Playing DnD online

Here's my setup of online play tools Roll20: Battlemaps for combat or detailed exploration Discord: Organizing play times, between-game chatting Google Hangouts: Main play - a big mistake I see a lot of people make for online games is thinking the map/table is the most important thing. It's...

    D&D 5E (2014) Keith Baker: Exploring Eberron

New Preview Re: Release, it sounds like the book's planes section is having a bit of page creep because Keith doesn't want to make people feel like he's going to need to cover it again in the next book. EDIT: Tweet got deleted, sharing the image

http://keith-baker.com/dm-medicine/ No release news but Keith has a minor illness so probably pushed back a week. Given that it's halfway through the month and there's no "Got the proofs!" Tweet yet I'm guessing it's gonna be early or mid April?
