Malvoisin's Way of the Wicked, Act 1: Knot of Thorns [PFRPG]

As the shackles fall away from his hands and feet, Grumblejack rubs at his chafed wrists (revealing that he too has an 'F' brand on his forearm). He draws himself up to his full imposing height, looks down at Anitol and says simply, "Thanks. Stupid little men, they'll wish they'd just killed me...

Malvoisin's Way of the Wicked, Act 1: Knot of Thorns [PFRPG]

Grumblejack furrows his heavy brow as he listens carefully to Anitol's words. Afterwards, the ogre nods. "All right, makes sense I guess. I'll work with you...for now. Turn me loose." He extends his meaty, shackled hands expectantly.

Malvoisin's Slumbering Tsar Saga Discussion [PFRPG]

Yeesh, Fangor, that's a lot to discuss! A novel indeed. Still, it's a good idea, because strong, cohesive tactics will be needed by your group to maximize any chance at success. I'll be watching the discussion.

Malvoisin's Way of the Wicked, Act 1: Knot of Thorns [PFRPG]

The ogre laughs again. "Taking orders? From you? No, I don't think so." He gives a sharp tug on his manacles. "Don't need any orders. Just turn me loose, point me at the guards, and stay out of my way." He does seem to be more intelligent than most ogres, but there's no reason to think he's...

Malvoisin's Way of the Wicked, Act 1: Knot of Thorns [PFRPG]

"What, you never seen an ogre before?" Grumblejack laughs. "I been here two, maybe three weeks. Stupid little guards like to have their 'fun' with me, is all. Now who are you again?"

Malvoisin's Way of the Wicked, Act 1: Knot of Thorns [PFRPG]

The brute hesitates a moment, then nods and replies in a guttural voice, "Grumblejack. Who are you?"

Malvoisin's Way of the Wicked, Act 1: Knot of Thorns [PFRPG]

It takes Anitol only a moment to find the right key for the reinforced cell door, and it swings open with a loud creak. The guttering torchlight spills into the cell to reveal the lone occupant inside. The party sees a large humanoid creature, some 9 feet tall, with long matted hair and warty...

Okay, so Insight said he has his Inquisitor finished, I believe. Anyone else have a completed PC sheet at this time?

Malvoisin's Way of the Wicked, Act 1: Knot of Thorns [PFRPG]

Ethan and Osrin complete their disguises with the guards' uniforms and chain hauberks in place. They fit reasonably, and hopefully should serve well enough to pass a casual inspection despite the blood. Curz and Jaylen pick up the dropped clubs. I'm assuming that Ethan and Osrin are going to...

Malvoisin's Slumbering Tsar Saga Discussion [PFRPG]

You're just pushing all the hot buttons aren't ya, Shay? He'd be real far from home, but sure. Go for it. :)

The SRD actually explicitly states that a flying creature cannot be tripped.

Malvoisin's Slumbering Tsar Saga Discussion [PFRPG]

You guys are absolutely correct that combat of all sorts plays a huge role in this campaign. You'll want a wide variety of specialties and skill sets to have a hope at success. I'm fine with any changes you guys want to make to your character classes, but I don't think I want to use the...

Malvoisin's Slumbering Tsar Saga Discussion [PFRPG]

I'm not a huge Summoner fan, and in some games I have (or might) run, I have disallowed them. In this case, though, I don't think it would be a gamebreaker (due to the sheer difficulty of some of these combat encounters). Go for it.

Yes, the party will have set out together from Bard's Gate to make for The Camp. The game will begin with the party's arrival at The Camp. If you don't want to have made the journey on foot, you'll need to buy a mount.
