D&D 5E (2024) Next issue of Game Informer will have details on the two upcoming Forgotten Realms books

Vajra Safahr, the wizard on the cover, and Minsc (and Boo, of course), both are in the new DMG's lore glossary. I don't think Jarlaxle is, and I know Karlach isn't (although she is apparently quite beloved in BG3 communities).

Here's the art for the mallqui! Also, the Haida had impressively intimidating armour:

D&D General 5 Cool Facts About the Inca and How to Use Them in D&D

Excellent writeup!! Regarding point #2, Kobold Press' excellent Tome of Beasts II has the "mallqui", a Lawful Neutral Undead mummy-like creature, that seem inspired by the Inka beliefs! They live in "Cold Plateaus", where they advise and judge their descendants based on their adherence to their...

D&D 5E (2024) Here's The Covers of BOTH of November's Forgotten Realms Books

Forgotten Realms Books to Have Several Digital DLCs, Including One Featuring Asterion

I hope they do a Monstrous Compendium for FR, expanding on the bestiary to add more cool critters!

Forgotten Realms Books to Have Several Digital DLCs, Including One Featuring Asterion

I wonder if GameInformer used the term "DLC" because they're primarily a video game outfit?

D&D 5E (2024) Here's The Covers of BOTH of November's Forgotten Realms Books

I honestly don't mind the covers that much! I do agree that SCAG had a nicer cover, but I have nothing against this style, with vibrant colours. And having Karlach on the cover will help sell the books!

D&D 5E (2024) Next issue of Game Informer will have details on the two upcoming Forgotten Realms books

There is apparently a panoply of new spells, including ones named after famous mages, like Elminster. One of these spells is called "Simbul's Synostodweomer" which heals casters when they cast spells! Also, Circle Spells are a thing, that can be used by both heroic PCs, and evil NPCs like the...

D&D 5E (2024) Next issue of Game Informer will have details on the two upcoming Forgotten Realms books

I love how the cover art for both books ties together! The Heroes of Faerûn shows the famous heroes, whereas the Adventures book shows another angle of the scene, and what villains and monsters they're facing. Excellent art direction!

D&D 5E (2024) Next issue of Game Informer will have details on the two upcoming Forgotten Realms books

This is from the article! I honestly really like this cover, and I think adding Karlach is a wise choice.
